The first-ever Pokémon TCG Valentine's Box is $14.99, releases January 15, 2027 and holds 20 three-card packs. Nothing has sold yet, so here is the price, what is in the box and what we would watch.

The Pokémon TCG Valentine's Box is the franchise's first Valentine's Day trading card product. It is priced at $14.99 and releases January 15, 2027, according to trade outlet ICv2 and Best Buy's product page. It holds 20 booster packs of 3 cards each (60 cards), a mailbox and stickers. The card list has not been shown, and there is no print run number, so we cannot give a rarity figure. Because the box is not out, there are no eBay sold prices to report yet.

Pokémon Valentine's Box price: how much is it?

  • Retail price (MSRP): $14.99. ICv2 reported it on October 30, 2026, and Best Buy lists the same price.
  • Per pack: $14.99 across 20 packs works out to about $0.75 a pack, or about $0.25 a card if all 60 cards are counted. That is our math, not an official number.
  • Release date: January 15, 2027 (ICv2, Best Buy). A German fan site, PokéZentrum, also reports it as a US release.
  • Master case: 6 boxes per case, per the product information published by a Pokémon fan news site. It is a retailer-facing detail, but it tells you how the box is meant to be shipped.

What is in the box?

According to the Best Buy listing and the packaging art in its photos:

  • 20 "Collect & Share" booster packs, 3 cards each
  • 2 sheets of To/From label stickers to put on each pack
  • 3 sheets of stickers to decorate the mailbox
  • A mailbox: the inner box turns into a place to collect Valentine's Day cards, aimed at kids swapping cards in class

The box is rated 6+. The packs are mini boosters, not full 10-card packs, so this is a gifting product first. The cards inside have not been announced. We do not know whether they are reprints, a special stamped set or something new.

Where is it selling?

Best Buy has a page up marked "Coming Soon" with a "High Demand Product" note, and pickup and shipping both show as unavailable for now. We have not confirmed whether it will go to a draw or an online drop. Treat listing dates as early and subject to change.

Returns: check this before you buy

Best Buy's return policy lists trading cards, including Pokémon cards, as nonreturnable once purchased (checked October 31, 2026). If you buy this box there to resell, a slow market means you keep the stock. We have not checked other retailers' policies for this product, and you should before you commit.

Valentine's Box eBay sold price and resale math

There are no sold listings yet, so any number we gave would be a guess. We will update this page after launch with the date checked.

What we can do is the break-even. eBay's Collectible Card Games rate is 13.25% of the total sale (item plus shipping you charge) up to $7,500, plus $0.40 per order over $10, per eBay's fee page (checked October 31, 2026). As an illustration, say you pay $14.99 and ship for about $5, charging the buyer $5 for shipping:

  • To get your $14.99 back after fees and shipping, the box has to sell for about $18.50 plus the $5 shipping. Sales tax you paid is on top of that.
  • Every dollar under that is a loss, so a box that sells near retail loses money once you ship it.

This is an estimate. Your shipping cost will differ.

Flip, hold or pass?

This is analysis, not a promise. We would pass on buying in bulk until we see two things: the card list and the first sold prices. A kids' gifting box at $14.99 with 3-card packs only works as a flip if the cards turn out to be something collectors want, or if supply is tight. Neither is known yet. If you want one to open or give away, MSRP is the fair price and the date is easy to remember. The thin margin and Best Buy's no-returns rule both argue for waiting.
