Every box carries 6 autographs, and the release date is December 4, 2026. The first completed eBay sale we found was $499.99, about 32% over retail before fees. Topps doesn't publish a print run, so we can't give you a rarity number.
How much is a 2026 Bowman U Signature Football box?
- Hobby box: $379.99 during presale, per Checklist Insider's report of the Topps presale. Topps' own product page showed the box as sold out with no price visible when we checked, so treat the exact figure as reported.
- Contents: 6 packs per box, 5 cards per pack, 6 autographs per box (Topps)
- Sealed case: 8 boxes per case (Checklist Insider)
- Limit: 6 boxes per cart on Topps.com
- Release date: December 4, 2026. Presale orders are scheduled to start shipping before then so they arrive by the release date, but Topps says it can't guarantee that, and release dates can change.
For context, 2026 Bowman U Best Football launched four days earlier at $259.99 with 4 autographs per box. Signature is a step up in price and in autograph count.
What's in it, and what to chase
Per Topps, this brings back the Bowman Signature brand with college football stars and legends in one set. The headline content:
- Heisman Legends Autographs, Fan Autographs and Legend Relic Autographs
- On-card Legend and Current Stars Autographs. Topps names Sam Bradford, CJ Carr, Arch Manning and Darian Mensah among the signers.
- A 100-card base set covering players from 85 schools, with limited parallels such as Blue Refractor (/150) and Red Refractor (/5) (Checklist Insider, checklist subject to change)
Pull rates haven't been published, so the real value of a box depends on which names you hit. A Manning or Carr on-card auto is what the market will pay up for.
2026 Bowman U Signature Football eBay price: what it's selling for
We checked eBay sold listings on November 3, 2026. Exact matches only.
- 2026 Bowman U Signature Football hobby box: 1 completed sale, $499.99 on November 2 (a factory-sealed presale listing, Buy It Now, plus about $8 shipping).
- Asking prices right now: active listings on the box run from about $500 to $900, with most sitting around $500 to $530. Asking prices are not sales, so don't count on them.
- Comparable, 2026 Bowman U Best Football hobby box (4 autos): completed sales between $269 and $340, most around $295 to $310, from October 29 to November 3.
One sale is not a market. Expect the price to move once boxes ship and the first big hits are shown.
The flip math
eBay's trading card fee is 13.25% plus $0.40 per order, charged on the item price plus shipping and tax.
- At $499.99 plus $8.29 shipping: fees are about $68, so you keep roughly $440 before paying for postage.
- Against $379.99 retail: that's about $60 profit, before sales tax on your purchase and your own shipping cost.
- Break-even: you need to sell for roughly $440 to clear $380 retail after fees and postage. If the price settles nearer $450, you net about $388 and the flip is basically a wash.
The margin is real but thin, and it only exists if the presale premium holds up.
Flip, hold or pass? Our take
Flip if you got a box at retail and can list while the premium is there. One $500 sale is the best signal available, and the Best U box showed that early prices can slip once supply lands.
Hold only if you want to open it. Six autos at $380 is about $63 per auto, and you don't know the quality of the names.
Pass on buying above retail. At $500 plus tax you are paying the whole premium and need the price to rise further.

- More sold listings. Sales that settle under about $440 mean the flip stops paying after fees.
- Ship date. Presale orders are meant to arrive by December 4, but Topps doesn't guarantee it.
- Big hits. Arch Manning or CJ Carr on-card autos are what push sealed prices up.
