2026 Topps Street Fighter Pack: Worth Flipping?

· 5 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Topps sold a $25, five-card Street Fighter pack on October 9, and the first eBay presales went for $50 to $65. Our sports card lead thinks the cards are bland and the only real draw is how few packs exist. Here's whether the numbers work.

The 2026 Topps X Street Fighter single pack launched on October 9 for $25. It's a five-card pack with no autographs, made to promote the live-action Street Fighter movie (in theaters October 16). The short answer: the first presales on eBay sold at roughly double retail, so there's room on paper, but ML, who runs sports cards in our Discord, wasn't impressed with the product, and it's a thin set with only 17 base cards. This is a small-money flip that depends on scarcity, not on what's in the pack.

What's in a 2026 Topps X Street Fighter pack

From Topps' launch page and the checklist and odds files it links to:

  • Format: 1 pack, 5 cards per pack: 4 base cards and 1 parallel
  • Price: $25.00 per pack
  • Base set: 17 cards (Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Akuma, M. Bison, Zangief and more)
  • Autographs: none
  • Parallels: Rainbow Foil (not numbered), Gold Foil /50, Orange Foil /25, Black Foil /10, Red Foil /5 and a 1/1 FoilFractor
  • Odds per pack: Rainbow 1:2, Gold 1:10, Orange 1:20, Black 1:48, Red 1:96, FoilFractor 1:470
  • Status: the Topps launch closed on October 9. It's not available from Topps anymore.

Why collectors are paying attention

Topps has tied the set to the Street Fighter film, which opens October 16, 2026. The movie's cast includes Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Roman Reigns as Akuma and Jason Momoa as Blanka. There's a nostalgia angle too: the 1993 Topps Street Fighter II set is still a sought-after vintage release.

The other reason is supply. The odds give a rough idea of the print run: a Gold Foil numbered to 50 across 17 base cards is 850 copies, and at 1 in 10 packs that works out to about 8,500 packs. The Red /5 numbers point to a similar total. That's our inference from the odds sheet, not a number Topps has confirmed, and the Rainbow parallel isn't numbered at all.

Retail vs. eBay: what it's selling for

Retail is $25.00 per pack, plus tax. Here's the eBay picture as of October 10:

  • Sold Topps X Street Fighter packs: 3 sales, all on October 9, all presales of a single sealed pack: $49.95 (free shipping), $60.00 (free shipping) and $65.00 (plus $5.50 shipping). The middle sale was $60. Three sales is a very small sample, and the first day of presales tends to be the highest.
  • A comparable from another maker: Cardsmiths' Street Fighter Japanese Cherry Blossom pack, a convention exclusive from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, has sold for $35 to $40 plus about $5 shipping this summer and as recently as October 7. It's a different company's product, so treat it only as a sense of what Street Fighter packs fetch.

The math. eBay takes 13.25% plus $0.40 per order on a trading card sale, charged on the item, shipping and sales tax. A $60 pack with free shipping leaves about $51.65 after fees, against $25 plus tax at retail. A $49.95 sale leaves about $42.90. Your own shipping cost comes on top, and a one-pack sale is the kind of order where postage eats a real share of the margin. We haven't included a shipping number because it depends on how you send it.

Flip, hold or pass? Our take

ML runs sports cards in our Discord, and his read going in was negative:

  1. The cards look bland. ML didn't like the design and doesn't think many people will care about the base cards.
  2. The only upside is the print run. ML's view is that the product is only saved if supply is small, and that with a rainbow parallel odds of 1 in 2 packs, the numbered cards should be rarer to hit. The odds suggest it is (about 8,500 packs), but he wasn't sure scarcity alone is enough for something this plain.
  3. There's no big hit. With no autographs and a 17-card checklist, there's no big chase card to carry the product.

Our read: pass unless you already own packs. If you do, the presale prices are the best you're likely to see, and the film's October 16 opening is the one date that could keep demand up. The $50 to $65 sales are three presales, not a market.

What to watch

  • More eBay sales. Whether presales hold above $50 once more sellers list, or fall toward the $35 to $40 range of the Cardsmiths packs.
  • Movie opening weekend, October 16. A strong release could lift interest; a weak one removes the hook.
  • First pulls. The Black /10, Red /5 and FoilFractor 1/1 parallels are the only cards with real money in them. Their first sales will show how much collectors will pay for a numbered card from this set.

Every Topps drop gets a full breakdown in our sports card channel before it goes live: pricing, whether a product is worth chasing, and when to skip. ML had this one covered the day before launch, including a note that Topps hadn't released any details at that point.

When it's time to sell, our WTB and WTS channels are where big sellers, breakers and collectors buy and sell with each other every day. It's often a faster way to move sealed product than listing it one pack at a time on eBay.
