The top Delta Reign chase card is the Mega Rayquaza ex Special Illustration Rare (138/103), and raw copies sold on eBay for roughly $310 to $450 on November 5 and 6, 2026. The gold Mega Hyper Rare Mega Rayquaza ex (141/103) is right behind it at about $215 to $425. Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign (ME06) goes on sale November 6, so these are first-day prices, and first-day prices usually fall. Searches for "Delta Reign chase cards" and "Delta Reign card list" are what people type most right now, and this page answers both.
Pokémon hasn't published pull rates for Delta Reign that we could find, so there's no official "how rare is it" number. What we can say is that Mega Rayquaza ex is the set's main chase in two versions, and the rest of the top 10 drops off fast.
Delta Reign chase cards: top 10 most expensive cards
These are PriceCharting's ungraded prices (built from sold listings) checked November 6, 2026, with TCGplayer's market price where we checked it the same day. Rarities are from TCGplayer's Delta Reign price guide and card list.

Two things stand out. The set is extremely top-heavy: the two Mega Rayquaza ex cards are worth more than the next eight put together, and the Raikou ex SIR is the only other card above $100. And the two price sources disagree by 20% or more on the same card (Mega Rayquaza ex SIR is $421 on one and $335 on the other), which is normal on release day when few copies have sold. Treat every number here as a first-week snapshot.
TCGplayer's own pre-release list of "The 10 Cards Everybody Wants from Delta Reign" (October 29) put the Mega Rayquaza ex pair at #1, the Raikou ex SIR at #3 and the Groudon illustration rare plus Kyogre promo at #2. That matches where the money is now, with one difference: the Kyogre promo comes in the Elite Trainer Box and isn't a pack pull.
How much is Mega Rayquaza ex (138/103) worth? eBay sold prices
We checked eBay sold listings on November 6, 2026, raw (ungraded) US sales only.
- Mega Rayquaza ex SIR 138/103, November 6: about $312 to $403, with many in the $325 to $400 band. Several were best-offer sales, so the final price can differ from the listed one.
- Mega Rayquaza ex SIR 138/103, November 5: about $370 to $450, so the price already slipped about 10% in a day.
- Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Hyper Rare 141/103, November 6: about $282 to $375.
- Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Hyper Rare 141/103, November 5: about $319 to $425, with one low outlier at $215.
- Graded: PriceCharting lists the SIR at $2,320 for a PSA 10, but it notes "no sales data for this card and grade" and calls that an estimate. Don't read it as a real price.
So the gold card and the SIR are trading within about 15% of each other, and both are falling. That's the usual first-week pattern: early copies sell at the highest price because supply is tiny, then drop as more people open product.
Delta Reign sealed prices: is it cheaper to buy the single?
PriceCharting's Delta Reign sealed prices on November 6: booster box about $228.40, Elite Trainer Box about $102.49, booster bundle about $52.81 and the 3-pack blister about $32.00. Those are well above list prices (the bundle lists at $26.94 at Pokémon Center, about $4.49 a pack), because the set is brand new and hard to find at retail. Without published odds we can't compute a real cost to pull a Mega Rayquaza ex. As a yardstick, a $350 single equals about 78 packs at $4.49, and at today's inflated sealed prices it's far more. If you only want the card, buy the single. Opening packs makes sense for the rest of the set, not for chasing one card.
The fee math: what the Mega Rayquaza ex SIR nets on eBay
eBay's final value fee for Collectible Card Games is 13.25% (plus $0.40 per order over $10), counted on the total including shipping. Say you sell the SIR at $350 and the buyer pays $6 shipping ($356 total):
- Fee: about $47.17 + $0.40 = $47.57
- Your label: roughly $5 for a tracked, protected shipment (our estimate)
- Net: about $303
If you bought the card at $350, you lose about $50 after fees. To clear about $30 profit, you'd need to buy near $270, and that's lower than anything we saw sell this week.
Delta Reign release date and what's next
Delta Reign goes on sale November 6, 2026, per PriceCharting's set page and card-list sites; Pokémon.com lists the cards as tournament-legal for Play! Pokémon from November 20, 2026. Prerelease events with Build & Battle Boxes started October 24, per the official Pokémon TCG site, which is why some cards already have sales behind them.
Is Delta Reign worth chasing?
Not as a flip at first-day prices. The two Mega Rayquaza ex cards are the whole story, the price already fell about 10% in a day, and fees eat what's left. The case for holding is that Mega Rayquaza has a long collector history and is the face of the set, but nobody can say where the price settles once the set is opened in volume.
Flip, hold or pass? Our take
This is analysis, not a promise.
- Flip: only if you can buy a Mega Rayquaza ex SIR near $270 or less, which is unlikely this week.
- Hold: reasonable if you pull one and don't need the cash, but expect the price to move down before it steadies. We'd recheck in two to three weeks.
- Pass: on buying at $400+ now, and on the mid-tier cards below Raikou ex, where margins are a few dollars after fees.
