One Piece Illustration Box Vol. 9 & 10 Price ($22.99) & Resale

· 5 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Bandai just listed two new One Piece Illustration Boxes for December 4 at $22.99 each. The last one, Vol. 8, is still selling for about $30 sealed. Here is the price, the contents and whether it pays to flip.

The One Piece Card Game Illustration Box Vol. 9 and Vol. 10 both release on December 4, 2026 with an official MSRP of $22.99 each (Bandai's English product pages). Each box holds 2 OP-17 booster packs, 2 OP-18 booster packs and 2 illustration promo cards. No eBay sales exist yet for these two, but Vol. 8 sold sealed for about $30 on eBay this week (checked November 6). Bandai does not publish a print run, so there is no official number for how rare they are.

One Piece Illustration Box Vol. 9 and Vol. 10 price: how much are they?

Both boxes are listed on Bandai's English site (en.onepiece-cardgame.com):

  • Illustration Box Vol. 9 (IB-09): $22.99 MSRP. The box art shows Vinsmoke Sanji and Charlotte Pudding.
  • Illustration Box Vol. 10 (IB-10): $22.99 MSRP. The box art shows Shanks and Benn Beckman.
  • Contents of each: Booster Pack [OP-17] x2, Booster Pack [OP-18] x2, Promotion Card x2 (2 types)
  • Bandai's note: the box illustration "may differ somewhat from the final product," and the pictures shown carry a SAMPLE watermark.

Because OP-18 packs are $4.99 each at MSRP, four packs alone are about $20 of the $22.99. The two promo cards are the extra.

One Piece Illustration Box Vol. 9 and 10 release date

  • Release date: December 4, 2026 for both (Bandai's English product pages).
  • Why now: the boxes pair packs from the last two main sets. OP-18 "The Dominance of God" releases on November 20 in English; see our OP-18 booster box price guide.

Searches back this up. On Google Trends (US) searches for "one piece illustration box" were at their highest point of the past month on November 6, and Google's own suggestions for the topic include "vol 9 release date," "vol 9 and 10" and "vol 9 pre order."

One Piece Illustration Box eBay sold price

Vol. 9 and Vol. 10 have no eBay sales yet, so the best guide is the box before them. Checked November 6, 2026 (eBay completed and sold listings for "one piece illustration box vol 8"):

Item Sold price Date
Vol. 8 (Kid / Killer), sealed, single box $30.00 Nov 5 and Nov 6
Vol. 7 (Rayleigh / Shakuyaku), sealed, single box $30.00 Nov 5
Vol. 7 and Vol. 8 pair, sealed $37.55 to $70.00 Nov 5 and Nov 6
Lot of 9, Vol. 7 and 8 $399.99 Nov 4
Lot of 17, Vol. 7 and 8 $775.00 Nov 5
Vol. 8 promo card "Killer," single $1.25 Nov 5

Graded promos from earlier boxes also sell, at roughly $14 to $40 for a PSA 9 (Vol. 1, 3 and 6 cards, November 3 to 5). Lot prices work out to about $44 to $46 a box, so bulk sellers get a bit more than single boxes.

Is it worth it? Flip math

Say you buy one box at $22.99 (before tax) and sell it sealed at the $30 Vol. 8 price. With eBay's rate of 13.6% plus $0.40 per order for most categories (eBay selling fees) and about $5 shipping (our estimate for a small box):

  • Fees: about $4.48
  • Net after fees and shipping: about $20.52
  • Result: a loss of about $2.50 against the $22.99 cost

At the lot price of about $44 a box the same math nets a few dollars of profit per box, but only if you buy in bulk at MSRP, hold stock for weeks and find a lot buyer. That is a thin margin for a product with no print run published. Our reseller fees guide lists rates by marketplace.

Risks

  • Mid-run pricing. Vol. 7 and Vol. 8 sell for about $30 each, which is only about 30% over MSRP. Illustration boxes do not trade like booster boxes.
  • Pack value is already counted. About $20 of the $22.99 is OP-17 and OP-18 packs you can buy loose.
  • No print run published. Bandai does not say how many it makes, so the box could be plentiful.
  • Promo card demand is untested. A single Vol. 8 promo sold for $1.25. Value depends on which character cards collectors want.
  • Stock may be limited. Retailer allocation is unknown; we have not seen quantity limits from Bandai.

Flip, hold or pass

This is analysis, not a promise. The team has not called this product.

  • Flip: Only in bulk at MSRP, aiming for the $44 a box that lots have sold for. Single boxes at $30 lose about $2.50 after fees and shipping.
  • Hold: A sealed box could hold its value for a few months, but Vol. 7 and 8 suggest a modest premium. Re-check sold prices in a week.
  • Pass: Paying more than MSRP for a pre-order. At $22.99 the box is already close to the resale price.

If you open One Piece packs anyway, a box at $22.99 is a fair way to get four of them plus two promos. See our reselling category for more One Piece and TCG guides, including EB-05 Gold DON alt art Leaders and One Piece promo card prices, and our releases page for the next drops.
