Lorcana Hyperia City Booster Box Price: eBay vs $143.76

· 4 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Hyperia City boxes traded near $265 in early August. Now that the set is out, US sold listings on eBay sit around $140 to $180 against a $143.76 MSRP. Here is what each product sells for and whether the math works.

The Disney Lorcana Hyperia City booster box price is $143.76 MSRP for 24 packs, per PHD Games. Completed US eBay sales for the English box ran $139 to $180 from October 27 to 29, 2026, with most between $145 and $170. That is a thin margin over retail, and it is far below the roughly $265 market value TheGamer reported in early August. We found no published pull rates for the Enchanted cards, so we cannot give you a rarity number.

Hyperia City is Set 14. Ravensburger lists the prerelease for October 16, 2026 and the general release for October 23, 2026. The set adds the Disney and Pixar Coco glimmers and a new "ink drop" mechanic, per the official Disney Lorcana site.

Retailers priced the box above MSRP before and after launch, so what you actually paid depended on where you bought.

What Hyperia City is selling for on eBay

We checked eBay completed listings on October 30, 2026, English product, US sellers only, Brand New. Sold prices exclude shipping, which many sellers offered free.

  • Booster box (17 sales, Oct 27-29): $139.00 to $179.99. Typical sales were $145 to $170. Most cleared at or under $170, and some were best-offer accepts.
  • Illumineer's Trove (12 sales, Oct 25-29): mostly $69.94 to $74.95, with one at $87.77. Retail is $49.99.
  • Case of 4 boxes (9 sales, Oct 27-29): $625 to $709, most near $650. That is about $162 per box.
  • Prerelease box: we did not pull a sold range.

For comparison, the releases page recorded a booster box average of about $170 across 4 sales on October 25, 2026. The box has come down a little since launch. TheGamer's August 5 article reported a market value of $264.69 for the box (down from $298.67), with a note that the figures may reflect manipulation. That pre-launch premium is gone.

Japanese-language boxes also show up in the same eBay search at far lower prices. Those are a different product. Do not compare them to the English box.

The math: is a box worth buying at retail?

Take a box bought at the $143.76 MSRP and sold at $160:

  • eBay fees at 13.6% plus $0.40 per order (the rate we checked September 29): about $22
  • Net of fees: roughly $138
  • Shipping you pay if you offer free delivery: roughly $7 to $13

That leaves you at or slightly below your $143.76 cost before sales tax. At $170 you clear a few dollars. See our reseller fees guide for the full fee breakdown.

The Trove works out better on paper. Bought at $49.99 and sold at about $72, fees are roughly $10, which leaves about $62 before shipping. After roughly $8 to $10 to ship a bulky box you net only about $2 to $4, before tax. Free-delivery listings make that spread thinner still.

The case at roughly $650 against a $575.04 case MSRP leaves about $75 before fees. Fees on $650 are around $89, so a case bought at retail does not clear.

Why this matters for resale

  • Sealed Lorcana moves. Dozens of boxes sold in a three-day window, so there is demand.
  • The Trove sells above retail. It is the one product with a visible spread over MSRP, though shipping takes most of it.
  • Coco crossover. A Disney and Pixar film tie-in draws collectors beyond the core players.

Risks and the case against

  • The premium already deflated. August pricing near $265 is now about $160. Anyone who paid that early is underwater.
  • No published rarity. We could not find official pull rates for the Enchanted cards, so chase value is a guess.
  • Fees eat the spread. On a single box the margin after fees and shipping is close to zero at retail.
  • Supply risk. Ravensburger can print more, and the August-to-October drop shows how fast sealed prices can fall.
  • Small samples. About 17 box sales is a snapshot, not a trend.

Flip, hold or pass

This is analysis, not a promise.

  • Flip: Nothing here is a clear flip. The Trove at $49.99 is the best of the three and still nets only a few dollars after shipping. A box at MSRP is break-even.
  • Hold: If you collect Lorcana and want sealed product. Check prices again in a few weeks; we will note the new date when we re-check eBay.
  • Pass: If you would pay $160 or more for a box. You are paying the market's price, not a discount.
