The Round1 One Piece promo cards are getting cheaper as supply grows. The ten Straw Hat designs are only available through Round1's bowling and arcade venues, so they started out as one of the hottest promos of the year. Phase 6 of the US pickup runs October 21 to October 27, 2026, and sold prices have dropped a long way from the launch spike.
Collector Andy Collectz flagged the market in an October 25 "Round1 Straw Hat Promo Cards Market Update" post, which is what prompted this look at the numbers.
How you get the cards (US)
Round1 doesn't sell these cards on a shelf. Here's what the official Phase 6 terms say:
- Registration: it ran October 13 to October 15, 2026, and was open to the first 10,000 valid registrants. It's closed now.
- Pickup window: October 21 to October 27, at the Round1 location you were assigned.
- Cost: $20 loaded onto an R1 Game Card per card, up to 10 cards ($200) per person. Deposits are non-refundable once loaded.
- Random designs: you can't choose which card you get, and all sales are final.
- ID and transfers: you need government-issued ID matching your registration, and the confirmation is non-transferable. Round1 says inventory isn't guaranteed.
The US campaign started with Phase 1 in July (59 Round1 locations in the US and roughly 100 in Japan, per the launch announcement). Round1 hasn't announced anything after Phase 6 that we could find.
The ten cards
Luffy (OP16-095), Zoro (PRB02-006), Nami (ST29-008), Usopp (OP11-003), Sanji (OP15-047), Chopper (OP09-068), Robin (EB03-054), Franky (ST21-011), Brook (OP11-056) and Jinbe (ST29-005). Per a Japan-side guide, the odds of each design are not published as equal.
What they're selling for
We checked eBay sold listings on October 26. These are individual sales, not averages, so treat them as a range.
| Item | Recent eBay sold |
|---|---|
| English Luffy OP16-095, raw | $54.99 (Oct 25), $74.99 and $80 (Oct 24), $90.24 and $100 (Oct 24) |
| English Luffy, BGS 9.5 | $102.51 (Oct 24) |
| English Nami ST29-008, raw | $40 (Oct 22) |
| English full set, excluding Zoro | $270 (Oct 9) |
| English 10-card set (one with double Nami, no Sanji) | $625 (Aug 12) |
For comparison, a third-party tracker, tcgintel, listed Luffy at about $188 on September 2, down from a late-July peak of about $575. It also had Nami at $90 and Zoro at $81. That site carries sponsor placements and its own forecasts, so we're using it only for the past prices, not its predictions.
The pattern is clear: Luffy is down roughly 83 to 90% from the reported peak, and Nami is below half its September level. Each pickup phase adds supply, and a sold listing shows what a buyer actually paid.
Flip, hold or pass?
For buying at Round1: pass unless you're already registered. Registration is closed, the confirmation can't be transferred, and the designs are random. At $20 a card, a Luffy that now sells around $55 to $100 raw could still return more than the deposit, but you're relying on pulling it. A Nami at $40 is about double your cost. The rest of the set trades much lower, and fees and shipping take a chunk of every sale.
For buying on the aftermarket: be cautious. Prices were still falling as of October 25, and nobody knows what Round1 does next. If there's no further US phase, supply stops growing and prices could stabilise, but we don't have evidence of that yet. If you do buy, do it for Luffy only, and expect it to trade sideways rather than recover to July levels.
If you already hold sealed or raw cards: the July-to-October drop shows how quickly a hyped promo can fall when more people get access. Sell what you don't want to keep while the Phase 6 hype is still around.
Two things we couldn't confirm: whether Round1 will run a Phase 7, and any official number on how many cards of each design were printed. Don't trust anyone who states those as fact.
