The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Poster Collection is one of the cheapest sealed products in the anniversary lineup, and it was reported back on Pokémon Center on October 27, 2026. Sealed copies sold on eBay the same day for roughly $30 to $42. Before you chase a stack, here is what is in the box and what is left after costs.
What is in the Poster Collection
According to Pokemon.com, the box includes:
- 3 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs
- 3 foil promo cards: Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres
- 1 double-sided poster, 26.875" x 39", showing more than 160 cards from the expansion
It originally launched on September 16, 2026 with the rest of the 30th Celebration lineup. Retailer listings put the price at $14.99. The Pokemon.com page itself does not list a price, so treat the MSRP as retailer-reported.
What was reported on October 27
Our team's channel and community drop trackers pointed to a Pokémon Center load of the Poster Collection on the 27th. Trackers are unofficial, and when I checked the Pokémon Center product page directly later in the day it did not load for me, so I can't confirm the listing or its stock from the source. Stock on drops like this disappears quickly, so what matters is the price history, not whether it is available at any given minute.
What it sold for on eBay
I checked eBay's sold listings for "30th celebration poster collection" on October 27, 2026. Brand-new, sealed examples looked like this:
- $29.99 Buy It Now (sold Oct 26)
- $31.00 after four bids (Oct 27)
- $37.36 and $41.36 Buy It Now (Oct 27)
- $42.01 with a high shipping charge (Oct 27)
- $39.99 Buy It Now back on September 17, the day after launch
There were also outliers: one auction ended at $81.65 after 43 bids, and a lot of two went for $85. Those are single sales, not a market. The bulk of sales clustered in the low $30s to low $40s, and the earlier trend (about $39.99 in September) suggests the price has been roughly flat to a little softer, not climbing.
Fee math
eBay's Collectible Card Games rate is 13.25% of the total sale plus $0.40 per order over $10. Using round numbers:
| Sale price | eBay fees | After fees |
|---|---|---|
| $30 | about $4.38 | about $25.62 |
| $35 | about $5.04 | about $29.96 |
| $40 | about $5.70 | about $34.30 |
That is before you pay to ship it. A box with a 26" x 39" poster is bulky, and if you offer free shipping you lose another few dollars. Your own cost matters most. At $14.99 sticker, tax and shipping on a small order can push the all-in price well above that, and then a $30 to $35 sale leaves a few dollars of profit per box at best.
Slumpd's read
Slumpd, who runs our Pokémon information, looked at the same product and called the margins tight: after tax and shipping the all-in cost was close to what buyers are paying on the secondary market for a typical sale, so he leaned against running auto checkout for it. He also expects more new Pokémon product to land soon, which tends to nudge prices of older sealed items down a little. That is his opinion from the day, not a prediction of where the price goes.
Flip, hold or pass?
This is analysis, not a promise.
- Flip: only if you already have a buyer or you can get it at close to sticker with free or cheap shipping. Expect low single-digit dollars of profit per box.
- Hold: weak case. It is a $14.99 item, not a premium collection, and nothing here suggests a large run-up. Holding a few as a collector pickup for the poster and the three foils is reasonable.
- Pass: if buying it costs you shipping and tax on a one-box order, or if you would have to sell it at the low end of the range. The outlier auctions are not a reason to buy.
I could not verify Pokémon Center's current return or cancellation policy from an official page for this write-up, so check it on your order before you count on sending a box back.
