The Riftbound x K/DA: Couture Collection is a $150 limited box, sold by drawing only. Riot Games opened free registration on October 27 at 9 a.m. PT (noon ET). It closes October 30 at 9 a.m. PT. There is no first-come queue, so speed does not help. Whether it is worth entering for resale depends on what the box ends up selling for, and nothing has sold yet.
Price, dates and how the draw works
Per Riot's Riftbound announcement and Strafe's coverage:
- Price: $150.00 plus shipping and handling. Strafe adds that duties and taxes are not included.
- Registration: October 27, 9 a.m. PT to October 30, 9 a.m. PT. It is free.
- Selection emails: around November 3. Selected entrants get 24 hours to complete the purchase.
- Shipping: Riot says online orders begin fulfillment within 1 to 3 business days of purchase.
- Also sold in person: at Convergence Fest, December 11 to 13, per Riot.
Riot is clear that this is not a giveaway: the draw only decides who gets the chance to buy.
What is in the box
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Legend cards (4) | Agony's Embrace (Evelynn), Nine-Tailed Fox (Ahri), Rogue Assassin (Akali), Daughter of the Void (Kai'Sa) |
| Battlefield card (1) | Packed Amphitheater |
| Playmat | K/DA limited edition |
| Deck box | K/DA limited edition |
| Card sleeves | One pack (see note below) |
| D12 metal dice | 4 |
| FIRESTARTER KiT keychain | Connects to a phone to play K/DA's newest single and music video, with a user manual |
Strafe reports that all five cards have new illustrations by Fortiche, the studio behind the K/DA artwork. Sleeve count is not consistent: Strafe says 75 sleeves, while Riot's announcement only lists one pack of limited edition sleeves, so treat 75 as unconfirmed.
Why this matters for resale
- A draw caps your odds, not just the supply. Everyone who registers has the same chance, so a big pool of entrants means most people get nothing. People who miss out often buy on the secondary market.
- Riot's earlier limited Riftbound drops had demand. Origins booster boxes are priced well above retail in our Riftbound Best Buy breakdown, and Spiritforged moved to a raffle. That does not mean this box will do the same.
- Sealed is simple to resell. Four collectible Legend cards plus a Battlefield card, a playmat and dice are easy to list as one sealed lot.
- A K/DA crossover brings in non-TCG fans. K/DA is a League of Legends music act, so buyers include collectors who do not play the card game. That is our read, not a number.
Fee math
eBay's published rate for Toys & Hobbies > Collectible Card Games is 13.25% up to $7,500, plus $0.40 per order over $10 (per eBay's published fee schedule). To get your money back on a $150 box, before shipping it to you and shipping it out, it needs to sell for about $173. That is the floor, not the target. We have no sold listings for this product yet, and we are not guessing a resale price.
Risks and the case against
- You may not win. Entering is free, so plan on losing, and do not budget around a win.
- The purchase window is 24 hours. Miss the email and the spot is gone, so watch the inbox you registered with.
- Supply is unannounced. The print run is not stated by Riot or Strafe. A large run would hurt price.
- Region is unclear. Strafe notes Riot has not said which countries are eligible. Check the registration page before entering.
- Per-person limit is not stated on the pages we read.
- Resale prices can fall after the first weeks. Sealed limited sets sometimes spike on first listings and then settle.
Flip, hold or pass
This is analysis, not a promise.
- Flip: Only if you win and early sold listings clear about $173 with room to spare. Check eBay sold, not asking prices.
- Hold: If you play Riftbound or like the K/DA art, keep it sealed or open it. The cards are the draw.
- Pass: If winning would mean paying $150 only to hope for a profit. Registering is free, but buying with no sold data is a bet.
