The Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign booster box (36 packs) is listed at $160.99 at Best Buy, available only through the retailer's invite system, and the set releases November 6, 2026. On eBay, US presales of the same box sold for roughly $190 to $225 on November 2 and 3, so the invite price sits about $30 to $65 below what buyers are paying.
That is the cheapest confirmed retail price we have seen for the box. Here is how it compares, what the box contains, and whether the spread survives eBay's fees.
How much is the Delta Reign booster box?
Retail price depends on the store:
- Best Buy: $160.99 by invite. Best Buy's own listing (SKU 6689677, release date 11/06/2026) says the box is a high-demand product with limited supply: anyone can ask for an invite, but not everyone gets one.
- GameStop: $299.99, as listed in a ComicBook.com buying guide from October 23.
- Walmart: $219.99 for the 36-pack display box, per the same guide, which notes that most Walmart listings carried inflated prices.
At $160.99, the Best Buy price works out to about $4.47 per pack. Pokémon has not published an official price for the box on the pages we checked, so treat $160.99 as Best Buy's price, not an official MSRP. The wide spread between stores suggests some of the higher listings are well above what the product costs at its lowest retail.
What's in the box and when does it release?
- Release date: November 6, 2026, according to Pokémon's announcement and Best Buy's listing
- Packs: 36 booster packs
- Set: over 135 cards in the announcement, with Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex as the headliners
Best Buy's listing also mentions more than a dozen Trainer cards, including three new Legendary Stadiums, and more than 35 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations.
Delta Reign booster box eBay sold prices
We checked eBay sold listings for "delta reign booster box sealed" on November 3, 2026. These are presales, so the sellers have not all shipped yet:
| Listing type | Sold prices (US sellers) |
|---|---|
| Single booster box | about $190 to $225, most near $210 |
| Highest single box we saw | $299 (a seller advertising it ships the same day) |
| 6-box case | about $1,300 to $1,320 |
Sales from UK and Italian sellers ran higher, from about $235 to $290 before shipping and import fees. We left those out of the range because buyers pay a lot more once delivery is added.
Prices could move quickly once the box is in buyers' hands. A set that has not released yet is priced on supply fear, and that is usually the highest it gets. We covered that pattern in our Delta Reign preorder price breakdown, which looked at how the last Mega Evolution set's boxes fell after launch.
Fee math: what the $160.99 box nets on eBay
eBay's Collectible Card Games rate for a seller without a Store is 13.25% of the total sale (up to $7,500) plus $0.40 per order over $10, per eBay's fee page. The fee applies to the whole amount the buyer pays, including shipping and sales tax. The math below uses free shipping and ignores tax, and shipping a 36-pack box costs roughly $9 to $12, which we have estimated.
| Sells at | eBay fees | Left after fees | After ~$10 shipping | vs. $160.99 cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $225 | $30.21 | $194.79 | about $185 | about +$24 |
| $210 | $28.23 | $181.77 | about $172 | about +$11 |
| $190 | $25.58 | $164.42 | about $154 | about -$7 |
So the spread is thin. At the typical $210 sold price, an invite winner keeps roughly $11 per box before sales tax. If eBay presale prices slip toward $190 by launch weekend, the same box loses money.
Is the Best Buy invite worth requesting?
Requesting costs nothing, and a win does not obligate you to buy. According to Best Buy, winners get a limited window to purchase, and ComicBook.com describes it as a 24-hour window. If you win, you decide whether the price makes sense.
We did not verify Best Buy's return or cancellation terms for this product. Read the "Return & Exchange Policy" link on the listing before you pay, because a booster box you cannot return turns a bad price move into a real loss.
Flip, hold or pass? Our take
This is analysis, not a promise.
- Flip: the margin is small. About $11 on a $210 sale is not much for the risk that prices drop after release day. It only works if you sell fast and the price holds.
- Hold: reasonable if you were going to open or keep sealed product anyway and your cost is $160.99. It is a bad idea at the $210 to $300 prices other stores and presellers are asking.
- Pass: on anything priced at or above the eBay presale range. You are paying for the fear the market is currently pricing in.
Slumpd, who runs our Pokémon information, said on Tuesday that the market on the booster box isn't great right now at around $200, and said he'd post a market update on Friday's releases. That is his opinion, not a recommendation to buy or skip.
