Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026 goes on sale November 16, 2026 at MagicSecretLair.com and stays up until November 30 at 1 a.m. PT. It costs $39.99 non-foil or $49.99 foil, and 50% of the purchase price goes to Extra Life. A limited number of copies will also be sold at the MagicCon: Atlanta merch booth from November 13 to 15. Wizards of the Coast announced all of this on November 3.
Busy Secret Lair drops put shoppers in a virtual queue that can run an hour or longer. Our members skip it: for every Secret Lair drop we run our bypass tool, and members who want the drop get a direct message with a link to check out. Details below.
When is the Rise of the Polygons release date?
Wizards' announcement gives these dates:
- November 13 to 15: limited quantities at the MagicCon: Atlanta merch booth, while supplies last.
- November 16: the drop goes on sale at MagicSecretLair.com.
- November 30, 1 a.m. PT: the online sale window closes.
Wizards did not give a start time. Secret Lair drops have usually gone live at 12 p.m. ET with the queue opening about an hour earlier, which is how our staff timed the November 2 Countdown Kit drop. We'll post the exact time in our Discord before this one.
How much is Rise of the Polygons?
| Version | Price |
|---|---|
| Non-foil | $39.99 |
| Foil | $49.99 |
Those are the same prices as the 2024 Extra Life drop. Fifty percent of the sales price (less third-party transaction fees) goes to Children's Miracle Network, supporting Seattle Children's Hospital through Extra Life. The drop has five items: Balefire Dragon, Sword of Truth and Justice, Young Pyromancer, Big Score and a 1/1 Elemental token. Our Rise of the Polygons price and card value breakdown has what each card sells for in other printings.
Is Rise of the Polygons worth it?
For Commander players and collectors, yes. As a flip, it isn't obviously one. The cheapest copies of the four cards add up to about $45 today, so the $39.99 non-foil costs slightly less than buying them separately, and half the money goes to charity. For resale, eBay's fee is 13.25% plus $0.40, so a foil bought at $49.99 needs to sell near $58 before shipping just to break even. This is analysis, not financial advice.
How does the Secret Lair queue work?
On big drops Secret Lair opens a waiting room before the sale starts. Everyone who joins gets a place in line and is let in to check out in turn. On a popular drop that wait can run an hour or more, and stock can run out before your turn comes.
How our members skip the Secret Lair queue
Every member can skip the line. For every Secret Lair release we run our bypass tool, and members who want the drop get a DM with a link to check out instead of waiting in the queue. Here is how it works:
- The drop goes live. The release opens on Wizards' store and the queue starts to build.
- We run the bypass. Our bypass tool runs for every Secret Lair release, including Rise of the Polygons.
- You get a DM. If you want the drop, a message lands in your Discord DMs with a link to check out. Our goal is one link to every member who needs one within about 10 minutes of the drop going live.
- You check out yourself. Tap the link and buy on Wizards' own store without waiting in the queue. There is no bot to set up.
- Use each link in a fresh browser. Every link is unique. If you get more than one link, open each in a different browser and on a different network, because the same browser, network and IP won't work twice.
Staff also post in the Magic channel and hang out in a voice channel while the drop runs.
A link gets you to checkout without the wait. Stock and per-person limits are set by Wizards, and popular drops can still sell out, so we can't promise a result. Magic is included in our TCG plan: a 7-day free trial, then $6 a week, card required. Cancel before the trial ends and you aren't charged. Rise of the Polygons FAQ
