Target Pokémon Drawing: Destined Rivals 3-Pack Price ($14.99)

· 4 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Target now runs drawings for trading cards, and its first Pokémon product is a $14.99 Destined Rivals 3-pack blister. Here is how the drawing works, what the pack sells for on eBay, and whether the math holds up.

Target has put its first Pokémon trading card drawing live: the Destined Rivals Three-Booster Blister (Kangaskhan) at $14.99. Entries were reported to close on November 4 at 10 AM Central (11 AM Eastern). Pulling a blister at $14.99 is fine for opening. As a flip, it is thin: sold copies on eBay on November 2 work out to roughly $19 to $31 each before fees and shipping.

How does the Target Pokémon drawing work?

Target's product page for the blister now shows an Enter the drawing button instead of Add to cart. The page lays out four steps:

  • Enter the drawing. One entry per guest. Payment is required at checkout if you are selected.
  • Check your inbox. Guests are randomly selected and notified after the drawing.
  • Complete your purchase by the deadline shown in the email.
  • Watch for more chances. Guests who aren't selected get another chance if more inventory becomes available.

Reports from deal trackers say entry only works on Target's website, not the app, and that Target plans to add more trading card items to drawings over time. Treat those two points as reported, not confirmed by Target. Target has not published how many blisters are in this drawing, so there is no quantity to quote.

Destined Rivals 3-pack price: how much is it?

Sales tax is added if you win. The blister is sold in several promo versions, and the Kangaskhan version is the one in this drawing.

Destined Rivals 3-pack on eBay: what is it selling for?

We checked eBay sold listings for "pokemon destined rivals 3 pack blister" on November 2, 2026. Sealed blisters mostly sell in multiples, so the per-blister price comes from dividing:

  • Sets of two: $37.01 to $62.99 sold between October 30 and November 2, or roughly $18.50 to $31.50 per blister. Most sat around $39 to $55.
  • Lot of 8 (Zebstrika and Kangaskhan): $225.00 on October 31, about $28 per blister.
  • One single listing sold at $26.50 on October 30.

That is a wide spread, and the low end sits barely above the $14.99 retail price once fees are paid.

Is it worth entering? Fee math

eBay's final value fee for Collectible Card Games is 13.25% of the sale up to $7,500, plus $0.40 per order over $10, per eBay's selling fees page. Shipping varies by how you send it, so we assume about $4 for a single blister. Your cost is the $14.99 plus tax, call it about $16.

Sells for eBay fee Shipping (assumed) Net After ~$16 cost
$19 $2.92 $4 $12.08 -$3.92
$26.50 $3.91 $4 $18.59 +$2.59
$31.50 $4.57 $4 $22.93 +$6.93

Selling in pairs spreads the shipping, which helps, but a win rate that is a coin flip at best makes the expected profit small.

Can you return it?

Plan on no. Target's returns page says: "Effective January 30, 2023, trading cards & trading card accessories are no longer able to be returned." We quoted that page in our 30th Celebration UPC article, and the product page for this blister has a Returns section you should read before you enter. Payment is due at checkout if you're picked, so you'd be holding the blister if prices drop.

Flip, hold or pass? Our take

This is analysis, not a promise.

  • Flip: Only works at the high end of the range, and only in pairs. The margin is a few dollars per blister.
  • Hold: A three-pack blister is a small bet, and we have no sourced number saying these will climb.
  • Pass: If you only want the Kangaskhan promo and packs to open, entering costs you nothing but a few minutes, and that is the real use for most people.

The bigger story is the drawing system itself. Target is moving trading cards to randomized drawings, which makes bots less useful and puts more weight on who enters. Our Pokémon group tracks Target drawings as they appear, and members on the TCG and Complete plans get free ACO (auto checkout) for Pokémon and One Piece drops.
