Bad World lists a release date of January 22, 2027. The page doesn't publish a pressing size, so we can't give you a "how rare" number. For comparison, regular copies of the album sold on eBay for $27.99 to $37 between August and October 2026.
Short version: it's a nice collector piece, but the regular LP is cheap enough that the Hallowisp edit has to sell out and get a reputation before it flips.
How much is the Wisp If Not Winter Hallowisp vinyl?
The official Bad World product page lists it at £45.00 as a pre-order, checked November 1, 2026. It was listed on October 31 for Hallowisp 2026, and the page allows up to 4 copies per order.
- What you get: Wisp's debut album If Not Winter on LP with a paper-doily fill and an exclusive postcard. Bad World says the doily's position and movement in the record may vary from the photos.
- Release date: Bad World aims to ship "on, or close to" January 22, 2027, and says dates can change.
- Shipping: extra. UK orders ship from the UK store; buyers in the US should expect shipping and possibly customs on top of £45.
The disc label in Bad World's photo reads Music Soup / Interscope Records, 2025, and side A lists six tracks including "Sword", "After dark" and "Latvia."
How rare is the Hallowisp edit?
There's no published number. Bad World's page doesn't state a quantity, and doesn't say it's numbered. Treat it as an unknown until the store or the label says more. If it sells out quickly, that tells you more than any listing can.
What Wisp If Not Winter vinyl sells for on eBay
We checked eBay sold listings for "Wisp If Not Winter vinyl" on November 1, 2026. No sales of the Hallowisp edit yet, because it hasn't shipped. The other pressings give a floor and a ceiling:
- Regular LP, new: $27.99 to $37 (August 13 to October 28), including $36.99 on October 18 and $37 on October 27 and 28.
- Record Store Day 2026 white vinyl ("Demos" LP): $30.90 to $44.99 (August 9 to September 12), plus a UK sale at $63.46.
- Store-exclusive iridescent green, alt cover: $100 to $110 in the US (October 13 and 27), and $102 to $107 from UK sellers (September 1 and October 6).
The pattern is clear: a plain copy sells in the $30s, while a store-exclusive color with a different cover sells around three times that.
Flip, hold or pass? Our take
Rough math on one Hallowisp copy, assuming you pay £45 and it eventually sells like the green exclusive at about $105:
- Buy at £45 (we haven't converted this to dollars) plus shipping and any customs from the UK
- Sell at a hopeful $105
- eBay's 13.6% fee plus $0.40: about $14.70
- Shipping an LP in the US: about $5 (our estimate)
- Profit: tens of dollars at best, and a loss if it sells like the regular LP at about $35
Flip: pass unless it sells out. There's no published limit, the regular LP is in the $30s, and you're locked in until January. We don't have a sold price for this edit, so we won't guess one.
Hold: fine if you like Wisp. The doily fill and postcard are the kind of detail collectors pay for later, and you'd be holding a pre-order for a record that doesn't exist yet.
Our call: buy one to keep if you want it; skip multiples. Revisit if the page shows sold out, since that's the signal the market is paying more. This is a read of the listings, not a documented team call.
What could go wrong
- No limit published: if Bad World presses to demand, supply won't be tight.
- Delays: the date is "on or close to" January 22 and can move.
- Cost to import: shipping and customs can erase a thin margin.
- Thin comps: the $100+ prices are for a different pressing, not this one.
- Fill variance: Bad World says the doily placement may differ from the photos, so condition photos matter when you resell.
