2026 Topps Mint Disney opened for pre-order on October 13, 2026 at 1 p.m. ET, with a release date of November 4. The hobby box was $369.99 and sold out on topps.com. On eBay, presale boxes have been selling for about $600. That's a big gap on paper, but it's a pre-order flip, so you're selling something that hasn't shipped yet.
What's in a 2026 Topps Mint Disney hobby box
From Topps' official product pages and the box art:
- Price: $369.99 per Hobby Box (per our sports card lead, since the page doesn't show a price in its text)
- Contents: 1 pack per box, 10 cards per pack, plus 1 encased card per box
- Release date: November 4, 2026. Topps says pre-orders are scheduled to ship ahead of that date, but it can't guarantee delivery on release day.
- Box art: it says one numbered parallel is guaranteed per box.
What collectors are chasing:
- Tiered base set: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum cards styled like minted metal. The rarest tier is Platinum (25 subjects, numbered to /99 at the start).
- Minted in Magic: an encased Chrome insert with 50 subjects across four levels of "magic."
- Minted Posters: new this year, with art inspired by recent Disney and Pixar movies.
- Chrome Autographs from the voice and live-action actors behind Disney and Pixar characters.
ML also flagged an NYCC exclusive version of this box that sells for more. Don't mix the two up when you look at sold listings.
Why collectors are paying attention
Disney trading cards have been on a run. According to ML, 2025 Topps Mint Disney and Marvel are both $500+ on the secondary market, with a few recent Disney sales at $600+, and 2026 Mint Marvel boxes are doing around $500. Mint hadn't pumped as much as the other Disney products, which is part of why he was watching this one.
Retail vs. eBay: what it's selling for
Retail is $369.99 for the hobby box. Here are eBay sold listings as of October 18, 2026, for exact 2026 Mint Disney hobby boxes (single boxes, no NYCC exclusives, no 2025 boxes):
- Mint Disney hobby box: 31 sales between $589.99 and $795, with a middle price of about $600. Nineteen sold on October 13, the day pre-orders opened. Twenty-three were presales and twenty-two were Best Offers.
- Comparable, 2026 Mint Marvel hobby box: about $500 per ML. I didn't verify that on eBay.
The fee math. eBay charges 13.25% plus $0.40 on a trading card sale, on the price plus shipping and sales tax. A box that sells for $600 with free shipping leaves roughly $520. Against $369.99 plus tax, that's about $150 per box before shipping and tax.
Flip, hold or pass? Our take
ML runs sports cards in our Discord. Before the pre-order he expected Mint Disney to come in around $500, maybe slightly higher, with a chance it started in the $400s if sellers rushed to undercut each other, especially if the pre-order was first come, first served. Presales so far have come in above his estimate, at around $600.
It's worth being careful:
- You're selling a pre-order. Boxes won't ship until about November 4. If you sell now, you owe the buyer a box on Topps' schedule. Topps says it can't guarantee delivery by the release date.
- The $600 isn't locked. Nineteen of the 31 sales happened on day one. Prices can drift as release day approaches and more boxes show up for sale.
- Margins are smaller than the headline. Roughly $150 per box after fees, before shipping and tax.
If you got a box at $369.99, the early market is strong. If you're buying a presale box at $600 or more, the upside is a lot smaller, so that's a pass for most people unless you plan to rip.
What to watch
- November 4 delivery. If boxes ship late, presale buyers will get impatient.
- Release-day prices. If sealed boxes fall back to the $400s, ML's "early bricking" scenario is playing out.
- Platinum and Minted in Magic hits. The top pulls will move the market.
