2026 Topps Neon Marvel came out on October 14, 2026 at 1 p.m. ET. The hobby box was $109.99 and sold out on topps.com. On eBay, hobby boxes have been selling for around $286. Short version: it's one of the better flips on the Topps calendar right now, but the Marvel and Disney run is hot enough that the downside is real if it cools.
What's in a 2026 Topps Neon Marvel hobby box
From Topps' official product page:
- Price: $109.99 per Hobby Box (per our sports card lead, since the page doesn't show a price in its text)
- Contents: 20 packs per box, 5 cards per pack (100 cards), with 2 numbered parallels per box
- Other formats: a $49.99 Mega Box and a $24.99 Value Box, per ML (retail exclusives, not covered here)
- The set: a 200-card base set with bright neon elements
What collectors are chasing:
- Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man autograph variants, signed by cast including Charlie Cox, Hudson Thames and WWE's Big E.
- Manga Madness autograph variants, signed by artists Rose Besch and Leirix.
- Marvel Murals (Tristan Eaton art), Neon Tarots and Marquee Motion lenticular cards.
- Bella Rachlin's Giant-Sized Booklet Autographs with original artwork.
- Marvel Snap and Marvel Rivals content, plus a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animation insert.

Why collectors are paying attention
This is part of a Marvel and Disney run that has pulled prices up across Topps' character products. According to ML, 2026 Topps Disney Neon hobby boxes were $300+ on the secondary market when pre-orders opened and are now at $400+, with a box selling at $450 the day before the Marvel drop. His view is that Marvel will always sit under Disney, "not over or too far behind."
Retail vs. eBay: what it's selling for
Retail is $109.99 for the hobby box. Here are eBay sold listings as of October 18, 2026, for exact 2026 Neon Marvel hobby boxes (single boxes, no cases, megas or Disney):
- Marvel Neon hobby box: 9 sales between $274.99 and $374.99, with a middle price of about $286. Eight sold on October 17. Four were Best Offers and one was a presale.
- Comparable, Disney Neon hobby box: 18 sold listings with a middle price around $400, a high of $500, and a few older, lower sales mixed in (down to $147). That lines up with the "$400+" ML described. I didn't verify Disney Neon's retail price.
The fee math. eBay charges 13.25% plus $0.40 on a trading card sale, on the price plus shipping and sales tax. A hobby box that sells for $286 with free shipping leaves roughly $248. Against $109.99 plus tax, that's about $138 per box before shipping and tax. That's a big margin for the price of one box.
Flip, hold or pass? Our take
ML runs sports cards in our Discord, and before release he said he'd be happy to sell Marvel Neon hobby boxes in the $300s, with a chance of $400+ if the pump continued. Early sales are a bit under that, around $286.
For retail, his read was that the Mega and Blaster boxes are viable because they are cheap and hobby is expensive. He expected Megas to go out of stock fast and Blasters to follow. He also warned that no odds had been released when he posted, so print runs were unknown, and there are likely big numbers on retail. Don't count on a mega selling for $80+ forever.
The caveats:
- This is a hype run. Marvel and Disney are riding the same wave. If it fades, hobby boxes can fall fast.
- Early sales are limited. Nine sold listings in a few days is a small sample.
- Shipping and fees cut into retail flips. On a $50 Mega, the margin is a lot thinner than on a hobby box.
What to watch
- Disney Neon. If it cools, Marvel will follow.
- Autograph pulls. Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man autos will drive singles prices.
- Restocks. More retail supply would put pressure on the secondary market.
