GTA 6 Liquid Vinyl Restock: Still Selling at $220s+

· 4 min read · By the Friends & Family team

The GTA VI liquid-filled vinyl came back in stock at $124.98 this week, and our members picked it up. Sealed copies are still selling for the low-to-mid $200s on eBay, almost double retail, and the record doesn't ship until November.

The Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album limited-edition vinyl restocked on the official store at $124.98 this week, and we flagged it to members in our Vinyl Kings channel on October 7. Members posted a lot of orders in our success channel afterward.

Short version: the restock window was small, the resale price barely moved, and this is still one of the cleaner vinyl flips going. It's also still a pre-order, so you're selling something that ships in November.

What restocked

The official store lists the same pressing we covered when it first sold out in September, which we wrote up in our GTA 6 vinyl hold call:

  • Price: $124.98, taxes included
  • Ships: November 20, 2026
  • Two transparent discs filled with liquid, with exclusive artwork and packaging
  • 34 original tracks

Restocks of this release have been small and short. When we checked the product page on October 8, it showed both "Pre-Order" and "Sold out" labels, so assume the latest batch is gone. We don't know how big any restock was, and we can't say whether another is coming.

What it sells for on eBay

We checked eBay sold listings for the liquid-filled pressing on October 8, 2026. The sealed US copies (not the retail-exclusive splatter versions, which sell for $100 to $120) cluster tightly:

  • October 6 to 7: $225.99 to $240, including $230 and $234.99 (most with free shipping)
  • Late September to early October: mostly $225 to $250
  • Early sales: $222 to $239.99 in mid-to-late September

A few sellers asked for $380 to $400 with best offer, and one went through at $400 on October 3. Treat those as outliers, not the market. The real price is about $225 to $240, which is roughly 1.8x to 1.9x retail. It has held that level for three weeks through several small restocks.

Flip, hold or pass? Our take

Flip: yes, if you got it at $124.98. Rough math on a typical sale:

  • Buy at $124.98 (taxes included)
  • Sell for $230 with free shipping
  • eBay's 13.6% fee plus $0.40: about $31.68
  • Shipping a double LP: about $13 (our estimate)
  • Profit: about $60, or roughly 48% on your cost

Sellers list these as presale, and buyers are paying today for a record that ships November 20. That's the catch:

  • You need to hold it until it arrives, then ship fast. Buyers will be waiting.
  • If the store ships late, your buyers wait too. Price your listing and your messages accordingly.
  • If you can't deliver on time, a buyer can cancel the order, so only list what you have in hand or on its way.

Hold: also reasonable. The record is one of the most-wanted vinyl releases of the year, it's Q4, and vinyl demand peaks in December. The flip side is that every restock adds supply and prices have stayed flat, not climbed. Selling now locks in the profit. Holding is a bet on the Christmas rush.

Pass: if you'd be buying on eBay. At $225+ you'd need a price well over $300 to make a profit after fees, and nothing in the sold listings suggests that.

Our call: if you got one at retail, selling presale at $225 to $240 is a solid, low-effort ~$60 profit. If you got two, selling one and keeping one is a sensible split.

How to catch the next one

  • Watch the official store. These restocks are small and quick. Stock alerts are the only way to catch one reliably.
  • Check the label. The product page can show "Pre-Order" and "Sold out" at the same time, so don't trust it. Check the add-to-cart button.
  • Know the retail alternatives. Retailer-exclusive splatter versions of the same album (Target, Walmart, Best Buy) sell for about $100 to $120 on eBay, so they're cheaper, but you can't flip them for the same margin.
  • Check the return policy. The product page doesn't state one. Presale and limited-edition items are sometimes final sale, so only buy what you're comfortable holding.
