LEGO Black Friday 2026 Mystery Set Reveal: Nov 3

LEGO is about to reveal its Black Friday 2026 mystery set on November 3. Last year's flagship sold out within hours, then settled under retail on eBay. Here's the plan before you see the price.

LEGO has announced a Black Friday 2026 livestream on November 3 that will reveal a brand-new mystery set. It's reported to start at 12 PM ET (9 AM PT) on LEGO's online store, with a Q&A with the set's designers. LEGO hasn't said what the set is, how much it costs or how many pieces it has.

That makes this a "prepare now, decide after the reveal" story. Here's what's confirmed, what last year's reveal did, and what the eBay numbers say.

What we know about the Nov 3 reveal

  • Date and time: November 3, reported as 12 PM ET.
  • The set: unannounced. LEGO's graphic only says "a new mystery set will be revealed."
  • Giveaway: LEGO Insiders can reportedly enter to win a signed copy of the set.
  • Rumors: one outlet reports talk that it could be the LEGO Ideas Godzilla set. That is unconfirmed, so treat it as a guess.

LEGO hasn't posted its full Black Friday offers yet, so details like free gifts or Insiders points are unknown for now.

What happened last year

The 2025 Black Friday reveal was LEGO Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (10356). It launched at $399.99 on LEGO's site on November 28, 2025. It went "temporarily sold out" within hours, and the Type-15 Shuttlepod (40768) gift with purchase ran out early the same morning, according to reports at the time. Later reports had it on back order for weeks.

Sold-out launch day, then what? Here's where it traded afterward.

What it sells for on eBay now

We checked eBay sold listings for sealed 10356 (checked October 29, 2026). Sealed, complete sets sold between $320 and $350 in mid-October, with a couple of sales at $349 to $350. That's below the $399.99 retail price.

A few sold listings were far lower or higher, but those were missing minifigures or bundled with add-ons, so they aren't a fair comparison. Sold prices are what buyers paid, not what sellers are asking.

The lesson: a sold-out launch weekend doesn't guarantee a premium. The flagship set sold out because everyone wanted one in the same 48 hours. Once supply caught up, the price fell back under retail.

Flip, hold or pass?

We can't call a set nobody has seen. What we can say is how to approach it:

  • Hold the decision. Wait for the price, piece count and any gift with purchase. A large display set can tie up $300+ of cash.
  • Do the fee math first. On eBay the fee is 13.6% plus $0.40 per order, plus shipping on a big box. Bigger boxes cost more to ship, which eats the margin.
  • Weigh stock risk. If it sells out fast again, that's the only window where a quick flip might work, and last year's eBay prices show even that isn't a sure thing.
  • A gift with purchase can matter more than the set. Small GWP sets sometimes resell better than expected. See our guide to Lego gifts with purchase and retiring sets.
