What's worth a look today? One drop: the Monster High Skullector Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Oogie Boogie Doll from Mattel Creations. Early access for Fang Club members opens today, and the public sale tomorrow is a pre-order. Below is what we confirmed on Mattel's own pages, plus our team's read from the private lowkey flips channel.
Oogie Boogie Monster High doll: the details
Here is what we read on the Mattel Creations product page this morning (October 29, 2026):
- Price: $70.00
- Fang Club early access: today, October 29, 2026, from 9 a.m. PT (noon Eastern) until 8:59 a.m. PT on October 30. Only Fang Club members can buy during that window, while supplies last, and the page says limited units are available.
- Public sale: starting October 30, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT (noon Eastern). The page says that if the Fang Club dolls sell out, the public sale will be a pre-order for the next production run, with orders expected to ship in Fall 2027.
- Limit: 2 per customer. Mattel notes purchase limits are subject to change at its sole discretion.
- Shipping: the page says "ships on or before November 27, 2026" for the early-access dolls.
- Where: MattelCreations.com only, per our team.
The doll is 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation, wears a neon green stitched gown, and comes with a bathtub purse holding Lock, Shock and Barrel, a doll stand and a Certificate of Authenticity.
Retail vs. our team's estimated resale
Retail is $70. Our team's estimate is $115 to $130+, and they say it could be more over the long term. That is the team's estimate, not a promise, and it is not a sold price we confirmed ourselves.
We tried to check eBay this morning, but the page returned an error, so we can't tell you what comparable dolls have actually sold for today. For context, in our Draculaura Halloween doll post the team reported eBay sales around $120 for that doll after it sold out.
The team's take: buying, with clear caveats
Our team's lead called this one a great design, great IP and a great character, but flagged the same pattern as the last Monster High release: an early-access drop first, then a public pre-order, with a chance of a further pre-order after that.
What the team said about how it could play out:
- Draculaura as the comparison: the team says that doll sold out after a few days and settled in about the $120 range. They see a similar outcome here, maybe slightly lower in the short term.
- What decides it: how many dolls Mattel made, how many resellers buy at launch, and how many pre-orders Mattel opens.
- The range: the team said a repeat of the last doll is the more likely scenario, that close to break even isn't impossible in the short term, and that $200 right away isn't impossible either.
- Their plan: they said they are buying and can sit on the dolls if needed, and expect another quick sellout today.
In plain terms: this is a hold for people who can wait, not a quick flip. If Mattel opens more pre-orders, prices could soften.
Can you cancel or return it?
Straight from Mattel Creations' help pages:
- Cancellation: the FAQ says "Once an order is submitted, it cannot be changed or canceled."
- Returns: the return policy lets you return items bought directly from MattelCreations.com within 30 days of receipt, with proof of purchase, for a refund of the item price plus sales tax (shipping and processing fees are not refunded). Items must be in the condition received and in the complete original box or packaging. Orders shipped to an international address are not eligible for return.
So you can't cancel after you order, but you do have a 30-day return window once the doll arrives, as long as it stays in original packaging. If you plan to resell, keep the box sealed and in good shape. Fees, shipping and your own timing still decide whether a flip makes money.
