The Monster High Draculaura Halloween Edition doll dropped on Mattel Creations today at 9:00 AM PT and sold out in roughly three minutes, according to our team's play-by-play in the lowkey flips channel. Retail was $65. Our team says sales on eBay are already in the $120s, close to the $115 to $130+ range they flagged before the drop.
What happened at the drop
This was the Fang Club members' early-access window. Mattel's product page says all current inventory was exclusive to Fang Club members for this drop, from October 13 at 9:00 AM PT through October 14 at 8:59 AM PT, while supplies last, with a limit of 2 per person. The team reported a small queue when the drop started, and the doll was marked out of stock a few minutes later.
Our team's description of it: "the Charizard of Monster High." They'd called it excellent ahead of time, citing Draculaura as the line's most popular character, a solid price and a strong design.
Where it's trading
Per our team, sales are around $120s on eBay, against $65 retail. That's the team's read of the market. We didn't pull eBay results ourselves for this post, so we can't say whether those numbers are sold or active listings. Check recent sold listings before you buy or list, and remember selling fees come out of that spread. Our reseller fees breakdown shows what to expect.
What's next: the public pre-order
Mattel's page says that if the early-access dolls sell out, the October 14 public sale will be a pre-order for the next production run, with orders expected to ship in Fall 2027. Public sales open October 14 at 9:00 AM PT.
Our team's expectations:
- Some buyers will be impatient and still want the doll before next year, which can keep demand for already-shipped dolls going.
- Members who plan to hold for over a year might consider the pre-order, since you pay now and don't have to store the doll in the meantime.
- Mattel's emails are usually delayed, so if you ordered and nothing has arrived yet, that's normal for them.
We haven't confirmed how many units the pre-order covers, and Mattel's page doesn't say, so treat its size as unknown.
Returns and cancellations
Mattel's return policy says items bought directly on MattelCreations.com can be returned within 30 days of receipt, with proof of purchase, for a refund or an exchange. Items need to be in the condition received and in the complete original packaging. Shipping and processing fees aren't refunded, and orders shipped internationally aren't eligible. The policy page doesn't say whether a submitted order can be cancelled, and it doesn't describe pre-order rules. Don't assume either.
A Halloween-season pick, like last week's Day of the Dead doll
Our team sees this as a strong seasonal pick, the same way they saw last week's Barbie Day of the Dead doll. For how that one went, see our October 9 write-up and the October 10 follow-up. Our team also mentioned another Monster High drop coming in a couple of weeks that they expect to be a good one. We don't have details on it yet.

How our members hear about these
Our team posts a drop in the channel ahead of time with the retail price, their estimated resale and the caveats, then calls it live as it happens. That's how members knew about this doll and its Fall 2027 pre-order catch before it went live. If you want that kind of early notice, see our lowkey flips Discord page, and browse past write-ups in the lowkey flips category.
