Olivia Rodrigo Take Me Home (4 Christmas) Red 7" Vinyl: Price & Resale

· 4 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Olivia Rodrigo's first Christmas single is out on a $15 red 7-inch, limited to one per customer. Our team passed, and here is the math on why.

Olivia Rodrigo's "take me home (4 christmas)" red 7-inch vinyl costs $15.00 on her official store, is limited to 1 per customer, and ships November 6, 2026. The store calls it the "first pressing" of her first holiday song, and it carries a B-side called "miss this christmas." No pressing size has been published, so there is no official number for how rare it is. As of November 5 we found too few completed eBay sales to publish a price, because the record has not shipped yet.

How much is the Olivia Rodrigo take me home 7-inch vinyl?

  • Red 'under the tree' 7-inch, official store: $15.00. Listed as a pre-order and an exclusive, limited to 1 per customer, per the Olivia Rodrigo Official Store.
  • Target-exclusive 7-inch: a separate pressing (our team described it as green) sold out for pre-order at Target, according to our team's note in Discord on November 2. We could not load Target's page to confirm the price or the color ourselves, so treat both as team-reported. Retailers sometimes restock.
  • Import and overseas stores: at least one European shop lists the Target version at around €39.99, which is a retail price for that shop and not a sold price.

Shipping and tax are extra, so check your final cart total.

take me home (4 christmas) release date

The record ships November 6, 2026, per the official store listing. The song itself was announced as Olivia Rodrigo's first holiday single, and press coverage this week says it is available to stream on Thursday, November 5, at 5 pm PT. We read that in search results and could not open those pages, so treat the streaming time as reported.

What does the take me home vinyl sell for on eBay?

Checked November 5, 2026: too few completed sales to publish a number. The record does not ship until tomorrow, so there are no real post-release sales yet. We will add a range after the first copies land. Searching "olivia rodrigo take me home 7 inch sold" in a week should show the real market.

How rare is the take me home 7-inch?

Unknown. The official page says "first pressing" and limits each customer to one copy, but gives no quantity. A one-per-customer limit stops bulk buying, but it does not tell you how many exist. Compare that with her GUTS vinyl drop in October, which was explicitly limited to 5,000.

The math

At a $15 purchase and a 13% marketplace fee plus about $5 shipping, a sale needs to land near $23 just to break even, before the store's shipping to you and tax. See our reseller fees guide for the formula. At a $30 sale you would keep about $21, roughly a $6 gain on one copy. The one-per-customer limit caps the profit at about that, which is why it is hard to make this worth your time.

Why this matters for resale

  • A big artist. Olivia Rodrigo is one of the biggest names in pop, and a "first pressing" of her first Christmas song has built-in collector interest.
  • Seasonal demand. Holiday records sell best from early November through December.
  • Cheap to buy. At $15 the cash outlay is tiny.

Risks and the case against

  • 7-inch vinyl has been a hard sell. Our team's view in the November 2 post: "7 inch vinyl just really hasn't done well in general" without signatures or other extras, and they compared it with the Sabrina Carpenter Nonsense Christmas 7-inch, a 2023 holiday single, as the kind of record that "just doesn't do well" later. That is an opinion, not a measured result.
  • Limit of one. You cannot scale it.
  • Seasonal. Demand drops after the holidays, so a late sale may bring less than an early one.
  • Restocks and more pressings. The Target version showed there are multiple pressings, and others can follow.
  • No sold data. Any price you see quoted before the record ships is an asking price.

Is the take me home 7-inch worth it?

Probably not as a flip. It costs $15, you can buy one, and you need roughly $23 on eBay to break even. Without any proof it sells above that, the upside is a few dollars. It is a perfectly fine buy if you simply want it.

Flip, hold or pass? Our take

This is analysis, not a promise.

  • Flip: Only if completed eBay sales settle above about $30 after it ships.
  • Hold: If you are a fan. A first-pressing holiday single from a major artist is the kind of thing fans keep.
  • Pass: If you are buying only to resell. Our team passed on it for the reasons above.

We list every limited release on the releases page, and the vinyl category has our other pressings, including the Bad World exclusive vinyl and how to sell vinyl on eBay.
