Ascended Heroes PC ETB Is Back, Invite Only: Check Email

· 6 min read · By the Friends & Family team

The Ascended Heroes Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box is back on Pokémon Center for $59.99, but you can't just add it to your cart. It needs an invitation code. Sealed ones sold for about $310 to $375 on eBay this weekend, so watch your inbox.

On October 5, 2026, the Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box showed up on Pokémon Center again at $59.99. This time the product page says: "This product requires an invitation code to be purchased."

That means this isn't a normal restock where everyone races the queue. Pokémon Center is selling it through its Early Access program, which sends unique invitation links by email. If you're on the Pokémon Center newsletter, check your inbox and spam folder over the next few days.

What happened

Our Pokémon Center monitor in our Pokémon Discord pinged members at about 1:14 PM ET on October 5 when the product page went live, and flagged it as invite only. We checked the Pokémon Center page ourselves right after and saw:

  • Price: $59.99
  • "This product requires an invitation code to be purchased."
  • "Purchase limit of 1."
  • "Final sale item."

Pokémon Center hasn't said how many invites it's sending, when they go out, or how many boxes it has. Treat anything you see on social media about timing as unconfirmed.

What's in the Pokémon Center ETB

The Pokémon Center version has more packs than the regular Elite Trainer Box. According to the Pokémon Center listing and Pokémon's product gallery, it includes:

  • 11 Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes booster packs (the regular ETB has 9)
  • 2 full-art foil promo cards of N's Zekrom, one with a Pokémon Center logo
  • 65 card sleeves and 40 Energy cards
  • A player's guide, 6 damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die and a plastic coin
  • A storage box with 6 dividers
  • A Pokémon TCG Live code card

Pokémon's product gallery lists February 20, 2026 as the Ascended Heroes ETB release date. The Pokémon Center version is sold only at Pokémon Center, which is a big part of why it resells so far above $59.99.

How Pokémon Center Early Access invites work

Pokémon Center explains the program in its Early Access FAQ. The key points:

  • Who can get one: people subscribed to the Pokémon Center newsletter who also meet criteria Pokémon Center doesn't share. Right now only customers in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are eligible.
  • No guarantee: not every subscriber is eligible, meeting the criteria doesn't guarantee an invite, and getting one now doesn't guarantee future invites.
  • How you find out: if you're picked, you get an email with a unique invitation link. If you're not picked, you get no email at all.
  • One account, one use: the link is single-use and not transferable. You have to log in to (or create) a Pokémon Center account with the same email address the invite went to.
  • It expires: the email has an expiration date, and items are available while supplies last until then. An invite doesn't guarantee you a box.
  • One browser: Pokémon Center recommends opening the link on one device and one browser only. Using several can stop your order from going through.
  • Don't game it: Pokémon Center says extra subscriptions or email addresses don't improve your chances and can get the invitation voided.

What to do right now

  1. Make sure you're on the newsletter. Pokémon Center only picks from subscribers. Signing up today may not get you into this wave, but it's the only way into future ones.
  2. Search your inbox, spam and promotions tabs for an email from Pokémon Center. Invites can land anywhere.
  3. Log in before you open the link, using the same email the invite went to, with your shipping and payment saved.
  4. Use it quickly. The FAQ says Early Access items are popular and recommends using the invite "sooner rather than later." Boxes can run out before your link expires.
  5. Don't share or sell your link. It's tied to your email and Pokémon Center can disable it.

Be careful with look-alike emails. A real invite sends you to pokemoncenter.com, and Pokémon Center never needs you to send your password or a code to anyone.

What it's selling for

We checked eBay sold listings on October 5 for the sealed Ascended Heroes Pokémon Center ETB. Single boxes sold on October 4 and 5 mostly went for about $311 to $375. A couple of the higher sales came with an acrylic case, and one at $331 was listed as having box damage.

That's more than five times the $59.99 price. It's also a price set while almost nobody could buy one at retail. If a big wave of invites goes out, more boxes will hit eBay over the next couple of weeks, and that usually pushes the price down. How far, nobody knows.

The fee math

eBay's final value fee for Collectible Card Games is 13.25% of the total sale up to $7,500, plus $0.40 per order over $10. eBay counts shipping and sales tax in that total, so real fees run a little higher.

  • Sold for $340, free shipping: about $45.45 in fees leaves $294.55.
  • Shipping label: about $10 to $14 for a boxed ETB, so you net about $281 to $285.
  • Your cost: $59.99 plus sales tax, about $64 to $66, plus whatever Pokémon Center charges to ship.

That leaves roughly $210 to $220 of profit at this weekend's prices. If prices fall by half after invites ship, it's still a solid margin on one box.

Can you return it?

No. The listing says it's a final sale item, and Pokémon Center's return policy says final sale items, including trading cards and products containing trading cards, can't be returned. Once you check out, you own it, so only buy it if you're happy to sell it or keep it.

Flip, hold or pass?

Flip: At $59.99 with a limit of one per invite, this is about as clean as a Pokémon Center buy gets. If you're buying to sell, the sales above say there's room even if the price drops a lot. Selling before most invite boxes arrive is the safer play.

Hold: The Pokémon Center ETB is the version collectors want sealed: more packs, the stamped N's Zekrom promo, and it's only sold in one place. If you'd keep one anyway, holding a sealed copy makes sense. Just know Pokémon Center has brought it back before, and could again.

Pass: Don't pay someone for an "invite" or a shared link. It won't work on another account and it can get voided. And don't buy a presale listing at $300+ on eBay right now. Wait until the invite boxes ship and see where prices land.

This is analysis, not a promise. Resale prices can move fast once a restock ships.
