Corn Maze Superdrop: Our Sleeper Sold Out First

· 4 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Before the Corn Maze Superdrop went live on Oct 12, we flagged Manufactured Grounds, the See Machine lands drop, as a sleeper. Per our team, it was the first one to sell out. Here are the three graphics we shared with our members.

The Corn Maze Superdrop went live on Monday, Oct 12, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT, and one of the drops we called a sleeper sold out first: Manufactured Grounds, the lands drop by See Machine. We'd said before the sale that it and Peace, Love, & Treefolk were the two most likely to go first. That's what our team saw on drop day, not an official sales figure from Wizards.

Before the sale, we put our value breakdown into three graphics for our members. Here they are, with the numbers written out below each one. All values are our team's estimates from current singles prices on Oct 12, 2026. New foils add supply, so those prices can drop, and none of this is a guarantee.

Graphic 1: The big value drops

Graphic 1: The Big Value Drops, covering Fear Me, Love Me and Should You Need Us from the Jim Henson's Labyrinth Secret Lair drops, with foil and non-foil values

  • Fear Me, Love Me: foil about $180, non-foil about $40. The key cards were Muxus (as "Jareth") at about $110, Boggart Shenanigans at about $35 and Trinisphere at about $35.
  • Should You Need Us: foil about $230, non-foil about $41. One card does most of the work: Wort, Boggart Auntie at about $205, plus Kami of the Crescent Moon at about $19.

Our four sleepers:

  • Manufactured Grounds (foil only): foil about $164, non-foil about $8. Seat of the Synod at about $80, Vault of Whispers at about $33, Ancient Den at about $29 and Tree of Tales at about $15. This is the one that sold out first.
  • Peace, Love, & Treefolk: foil about $90, non-foil about $35. Every card is worth about $10 or more, so the value is spread out.
  • Through the Labyrinth: foil about $35, non-foil about $28. Its card value is under retail, but we think it looks the best of the drops, and a smaller print run could push it above its card value.
  • KPop Demon Hunters: How It's Done: foil about $85, non-foil about $32. Swan Song at about $45, Freed from the Real at about $17.50 and Underworld Breach at about $8.

The two cart builds were designed to reach $199, which earns the foil "The Labyrinth" promo (a reskinned Maze of Ith, about a $7 card). Orders over $99 ship free.

  • Option 1, all foils: 2x Fear Me, Love Me; 2x Should You Need Us; 1x Manufactured Grounds. At those estimates, roughly $900 or more in card value for about $200.
  • Option 2, all foils, spread out: 1x each of Fear Me, Love Me; Should You Need Us; Manufactured Grounds; KPop Demon Hunters; and Peace, Love, & Treefolk. Roughly $750 in card value.

Graphic 3: For the love of Marvel, or the artist

Graphic 3: Buying for the love of Marvel or the artist, showing the Marvel Zombies and Veronique Meignaud Artist Series drops

  • Marvel Zombies: foil about $42, non-foil about $19.25. Not a value drop. Buy it if you love Marvel.
  • Veronique Meignaud Artist Series: foil about $34, non-foil about $23. Buy it if you love the artist.

What the sell-out tells us

One drop selling out first is a data point, not a verdict. It's consistent with our numbers, since Manufactured Grounds had the biggest jump from its $8 non-foil value to its roughly $164 foil value, but we can't say why it went first. What happens next depends on whether Secret Lair restocks and on how singles prices move once more copies exist. Eight drops on one day also means one sell-out says little about the other seven.

If you bought, remember that Secret Lair orders are final once you're charged, per their refund policy. We wouldn't call any of this low risk.
