Secret Lair x Labyrinth: 3 Drops, Prices and Card Value

· 7 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Jareth is officially coming to Magic. Secret Lair has confirmed three Jim Henson's Labyrinth drops for October 12, and the goblin drop includes a reprint worth about $34 on its own.

On September 29, the fine print on Secret Lair's Corn Maze teaser hinted at a Jim Henson's Labyrinth crossover. Now it's official. On October 3, the Secret Lair account on X showed off Fear Me, Love Me, a goblin-themed drop starring Jareth, the Goblin King, and confirmed it "joins two more Jim Henson's Labyrinth drops in the Corn Maze Superdrop on October 12."

Wizards' own announcement lists all three drops, every card, and the prices. Here's what's in each one, what the cards inside are worth today, and how we'd think about buying, flipping or holding.

The short version

  • Launch: October 12, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT, with a pre-queue opening at 8:00 AM PT, only on the Secret Lair store
  • Price per drop: $29.99 non-foil or $39.99 traditional foil
  • Labyrinth drops: three (Fear Me, Love Me; Should You Need Us; Through the Labyrinth)
  • Whole Superdrop: eight drops, also including KPop Demon Hunters, Marvel Zombies and three artist drops
  • Bonus: one foil Maze of Ith promo, renamed "The Labyrinth," with each $199 spent, while supplies last
  • Shipping: free on orders over $99

Fear Me, Love Me (Jareth and the goblins)

This is the drop the October 3 post was about, and it's built around goblins. Per Wizards:

  • Muxus, Goblin Grandee as "Jareth, Goblin King"
  • Boggart Shenanigans as "Call Out the Goblins!"
  • Dance with Calamity as "Dance with Goblins"
  • Goblin Rabblemaster as "Goblin Cradle-Thieves"
  • Claim the Firstborn as "The Kidnapping of Toby"
  • Trinisphere as "I've Brought You a Gift"

The Jareth card's art, by Rebecca Guay, lines up with Sarah's card from the next drop to form one scene of the two dancing. That's a nice touch for collectors who want both drops side by side.

Should You Need Us (Sarah and her friends)

The friendlier side of the film:

  • Jodah, the Unifier as "Sarah, Champion to the Lost"
  • Lu Xun, Scholar General as "Sir Didymus, Rider of Ambrosius // Sir Didymus, Faithful Companion" (a reversible card)
  • Kami of the Crescent Moon as "The Worm, Sagely Guide"
  • Kogla, the Titan Ape as "Ludo, Rock Caller"
  • Shigeki, Jukai Visionary as "The Wiseman, Eccentric Oracle"
  • Wort, Boggart Auntie as "Hoggle, Heart in Conflict"

Through the Labyrinth (the maze itself)

Seven cards built on the film's rooms and set pieces:

  • Timely Ward as "Rescue in the 13th Hour"
  • Chronomantic Escape as "Under Jareth's Spell"
  • Delayed Blast Fireball as "Frenzy of the Fireys"
  • Tempt with Discovery as "The Goblin King's Offer"
  • Leveler as "The Cleaners"
  • Thran Temporal Gateway as "Doors of Indecision"
  • Rogue's Passage as "Shaft of Hands"

What the cards inside are worth today

A Secret Lair's long-term value usually comes from the cards, not the sealed box. So we added up the cheapest current non-foil printing of each card, using the TCGplayer-based prices Scryfall showed on October 4, 2026. This is a floor-style estimate, not a resale price: Secret Lair versions often sell above the cheapest printing, and reprints often push older copies down.

Drop Cheapest copies of every card Biggest card
Fear Me, Love Me about $48.59 Trinisphere, about $34
Should You Need Us about $43.47 Wort, Boggart Auntie, about $29.48
Through the Labyrinth about $29.23 Delayed Blast Fireball, about $15.44

What stands out:

  • Fear Me, Love Me is the value pick on paper, but it leans on one card. Trinisphere is about 70% of the total. Muxus's cheapest copy is about $11.
  • Should You Need Us has a similar story. Wort, Boggart Auntie has only two printings on Scryfall and sits near $29.50. A new printing could pull that price down.
  • Through the Labyrinth is roughly at its non-foil price in singles. Most of its cards are under $4 each, so it's more of a collector and fan drop.

Precedent matters here. When ManaValue checked September's Masters of the Universe Superdrop, it found most drops near or a bit above retail on singles. That's the normal pattern: a few drops beat their price, most don't.

Bundles and the Maze of Ith promo

Wizards lists three bundles for the full Corn Maze Superdrop:

  • Pumpkin Spiced Non-Foil Bundle: all eight drops in non-foil, $239.92
  • Full Moon Foil Bundle: all eight drops in foil, $319.92
  • A-Maize-Ing Everything Bundle: all eight in both finishes, $539.99

The first two are exactly eight drops at single-drop prices, so they don't save money. The Everything Bundle is about $19.85 less than buying both bundles separately ($559.84), and at that size it earns two Maze of Ith promos.

If you only want Labyrinth, the math is simple. All three Labyrinth drops in foil come to $119.97, which gets free shipping but not the promo. Three foil plus three non-foil comes to $209.94, which clears the $199 line for one Maze of Ith. For reference, the cheapest existing non-foil Maze of Ith is about $8.93 on Scryfall today. The promo is a bonus, not a reason to spend $80 more.

Can you cancel or return it?

Read this before you buy multiples. From Secret Lair's support pages:

  • Cancel only before you're charged. Use the "Cancel pre-order" button on the Manage Order page. Once the order debits, it's final. Some orders debit right at checkout, and those can't be canceled through self-service at all.
  • No partial cancels. You cancel the whole order or nothing, and a canceled order can't be reinstated.
  • US sales are final. Secret Lair says "all purchases are final at the time of sale" for the US store.
  • Limits: usually 2 of each product, with separate limits on bundles.
  • Defects: Secret Lair will help with a replacement through its support portal.

So your only exit is canceling before the charge. After that, you own it. Plan as if every order is final.

What's selling on eBay

We checked eBay sold and active listings for "secret lair labyrinth" and "secret lair corn maze" on October 4, 2026. We found no sold or active presale listings for the Labyrinth drops yet. Expect presales to appear once the store opens on October 12. Price off completed sales, not asking prices.

The fee math

eBay's final value fee for Collectible Card Games is 13.25% of the total sale (up to $7,500), plus $0.40 per order over $10. To get back just what you paid:

  • Foil drop ($39.99): sell for about $46.56
  • Non-foil drop ($29.99): sell for about $35.03

That's before sales tax, shipping and supplies. Our 2026 reseller fee guide compares other places to sell, and our guide on how to sell Magic cards covers selling singles instead of sealed.

Flip, hold or pass?

This is our analysis, not a promise.

Flip: Labyrinth's audience goes beyond Magic players, which can help sealed demand early. But Secret Lair fills a lot of orders, and the first wave of presales often sets the high-water mark. If you flip, list early and price off sold listings. Fear Me, Love Me has the strongest card value behind it, which gives buyers a reason to pay above sticker.

Hold: Holding makes the most sense for drops whose singles are worth more than you paid. Fear Me, Love Me and Should You Need Us both clear $40 on today's cheapest-printing math, though each leans on one card. Because Sarah and Jareth form one picture, a matched pair could appeal to collectors later. That's a bet, not a given.

Pass: Through the Labyrinth is roughly at its non-foil price in singles. Buy it if you love the film or want the art. Don't buy it expecting a quick flip.
