The Stranger Than Heaven Collector's Edition retails for $129.99 in the US, per GameStop's listing and RPG Site's edition guide. The game, from RGG Studio and SEGA, launches January 15, 2027. Physical Collector's Edition copies are for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and come in limited quantities.
We have no verified eBay sold average yet. Our last check on October 26, 2026 found too few matching sales to publish a number, so we are not guessing one.
What is in the Collector's Edition
- The base game on disc
- A Deluxe Upgrade DLC code and a pre-order bonus DLC code
- An exclusive SteelBook case
- An exclusive 12-inch vinyl record with the main theme and other tracks
- An exclusive Collector's Edition box with its own artwork
For comparison, RPG Site lists the Standard Edition at $69.99 and the Deluxe Edition at $89.99. The extra $40 over Deluxe buys the physical items: box, SteelBook and vinyl.
Why this matters for resale
- Physical-only extras. The vinyl, SteelBook and box cannot be bought in any digital edition.
- Limited quantities. The edition is described as limited.
- Cross-over buyers. Game collectors and vinyl collectors both shop this kind of box.
- Established fanbase. RGG Studio's games have a loyal following.
Risks and the case against
- No sold data. Nothing yet shows buyers paying over retail.
- Wide retail availability. Listings exist at several US retailers, which weakens scarcity.
- Months to launch. Cash is tied up until January, and contents or timing can change.
- Bulky box. Shipping costs and damage risk eat margin. See our reseller fees guide.
- Marketplace rules. Selling a pre-order you do not hold can break them.
Flip, hold or pass
This is analysis, not a promise.
- Flip: Only if completed sales, not asking prices, show a clear premium after fees once copies ship.
- Hold: If you want the vinyl and SteelBook for your own shelf.
- Pass: If you are only here for a quick flip. With no sold data, the edge is unproven.
