The Fable Collector's Edition costs $199.99 on Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC, per Video Games Chronicle's report of the Xbox Game Studios announcement. Pre-orders opened in June 2026. Our releases page lists the game as out February 23, 2027 with early access from February 18, though one retailer listing shows a different date, so confirm with your store.

We have no verified eBay sold average for this box. Our last check on October 26, 2026 found too few matching sales to publish a number, so we are not guessing one.

What is in the Collector's Edition

  • A limited-edition Jack of Blades statuette
  • A hardcover art book (English only)
  • A custom SteelBook case
  • A Guild Seal lapel pin
  • Premium Edition content: early access, a Premium content pack, a digital art book and soundtrack, and the Fable: Order of the Hero expansion (coming after launch)

For comparison, the standard edition is reported at $69.99 and the Premium Edition at $99.99, so the extra roughly $100 over Premium buys the statue and physical items.

Why this matters for resale

  • Statue plus physical-only items. The statuette, art book and pin are not in any digital edition.
  • Long-awaited franchise. Fable has a loyal fanbase.
  • Platform splits. Copies are sold per platform, which can make the less common versions scarcer.

Risks and the case against

  • No sold data. There is no proof yet that buyers will pay over retail.
  • Multiple platforms and stores. Wider supply weakens scarcity compared with a one-store exclusive.
  • Release is months away. Cash sits tied up, and dates can slip.
  • Bulky, fragile box. Shipping costs and damage risk eat margin. See our reseller fees guide.
  • Marketplace rules. Selling a pre-order you do not hold can break them.

Flip, hold or pass

This is analysis, not a promise.

  • Flip: Only if completed sales, not asking prices, show a clear premium after fees once copies ship.
  • Hold: If you want the statue. It is the main draw.
  • Pass: If you are only here for a flip. With no sold data, the edge is unproven.
