The Monster High Skullector Oogie Boogie doll from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is $70 at Mattel Creations, with a limit of 2 per customer. Mattel's page says all current inventory is exclusive to Fang Club members in the October 29, 2026 drop, and those orders ship on or before November 27, 2026. Mattel hasn't published a production number, so how rare it is can't be quantified yet.

How much is the Oogie Boogie doll?

Retail price: $70.00 on Mattel Creations, the same price reported by Merca2.0.
Fang Club membership: a 1-year digital membership is listed at $9.99 on the same page, since the early-access drop requires it.
Limit: 2 per customer.
Public sale: if the member dolls sell out, Mattel says the October 30 public sale will be a pre-order for the next production run, with orders expected to ship in Fall 2027.

The doll stands 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation, per Flickering Myth. It wears a neon green gown with black patchwork-style stitching, platform boots sculpted with insects, and comes with a bathtub purse holding Lock, Shock and Barrel.

Oogie Boogie doll eBay price (checked Oct 29, 2026)

This doll hasn't shipped, so there are no true sales of it in hand. Searching eBay completed listings for the doll on October 29 returned only a handful of results, all presale listings. Those showed prices of roughly $130 to $160, with one around $214. Sellers listing before they hold the doll are taking a risk, and these prices could move once real stock arrives, so treat them as early signals, not a market.

The best comp: the Jack & Sally set

Mattel's earlier Nightmare Before Christmas release in this line, the Jack Skellington and Sally two-doll set, was $90 and is marked sold out on Mattel's page. On eBay completed listings (checked October 29), sealed sets sold between roughly $475 and $600 through October, with a few higher. That's a big multiple on retail, but it's a two-doll set that has been out of stock for a long time.

Why this matters for resale

Same franchise and line as a set that now sells for several times retail.
Members-only first window. Only Fang Club buyers can get it at launch, and the 2-doll limit keeps individual buyers from hoarding.
Halloween timing. Our team reads seasonal Mattel drops like our Draculaura write-up as strong picks.

The case against

A pre-order for the next production run follows on October 30 if stock sells out, with a Fall 2027 ship date. That supply could cap the premium once it's clear how many people can still buy.
Presale prices are shaky. Early listings can disappear if the seller can't get the doll.
Fees and shipping. A $130 to $160 sale loses a chunk to fees. See our reseller fees breakdown.
Unknown production size. Mattel doesn't say how many dolls exist.

Flip, hold or pass?

Flip if you're already a member and can get one or two at $70, ideally by selling once the doll is in hand rather than on presale. Pass on paying $130+ on the secondary market before the October 30 pre-order shows how big the run is.
