The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection (UPC) is the most expensive box in the 30th Celebration lineup. It comes in two versions, Day and Night, and launches on November 6, 2026.
It's also getting a lot of misleading attention. On September 30, the deal tracker @PokemonDealsTCG posted on X that the 30th Celebration UPCs are not live at Walmart. It said another account had claimed they were for three Wednesdays in a row. That post passed 200,000 views in a day.
Here's what's actually in the box, what we found on Walmart and eBay, and how the numbers work.
What's in the 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection
The Pokémon Company's product page lists the same contents for both versions. The only difference is the Pokémon on the promo card and accessories: Espeon for Day and Umbreon for Night.
- 29 30th Celebration booster packs
- 1 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack, with three cards from the set's Classic Collection
- A foil Pikachu ex promo card
- A foil Espeon ex (Day) or Umbreon ex (Night) promo card
- A playmat, 65 card sleeves, a deck box, a metal coin and 6 damage-counter dice
- A Pokémon TCG Live code card
Price: $179.99 suggested retail. That's the price Miniature Market lists on its Night preorder page, and it matches Bill's Archive's MSRP list. Launch: November 6, 2026, per Pokemon.com. That's the same day as the Ditto Premium Collection and the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections.
At $179.99 for 30 packs, you pay about $6 per pack and get the promos and accessories on top.
Are the 30th Celebration UPCs live at Walmart?
Not from Walmart itself, as of our check. We searched Walmart.com on the morning of October 1. Both versions show up as preorders, but they're from Marketplace sellers, not Walmart:
- Night: $749.99, sold and shipped by a third-party seller
- Day: $649.99 and $677.77, from two third-party sellers. Both offers were marked "Not returnable."
So a Walmart listing for the UPC doesn't mean Walmart is selling it at $179.99. Before you buy anything, check the "Sold and shipped by" line. The tracker said it expects Walmart to put the UPCs into one of its drawings closer to release day. That's its guess, and Walmart hasn't announced anything.
Walmart has used drawings for other 30th Celebration products, including the Booster Bundle and Mini Tin drawing we covered yesterday. If you win a Walmart drawing, it places the order for you, and Walmart says drawing items "may not be returnable."
Where else it's listed
- Best Buy has a product page for the UPC, titled "Day or Night... (1 Ultra Premium Collection per Order) Styles May Vary." It shows a release date of 11/06/2026. You can't choose Day or Night there. Best Buy's return policy lists "trading cards (including Pokémon cards)" as non-returnable.
- Miniature Market lists the Night version at $179.99 as a preorder. It was out of stock when we checked, with a limit of 6 per customer.
- Pokémon Center: its return policy lists Pokémon trading card products as final sale, as we covered in our Delta Reign preorder guide.
Put simply, plan on not being able to return a UPC wherever you buy it. Cancelling before the order ships is usually your only way out.
What the UPC is selling for on eBay
We checked eBay sold listings on October 1, 2026. Every sale is a presale, meaning the seller doesn't have the box yet and promises to ship around November 6. Here's what US sellers got between September 28 and October 1:
- Single Day or Night UPC: most sold between $450 and $600. A few went higher, like two at $750 and $775 on September 28.
- Day + Night pair: about $1,000 to $1,150.
- 4-box case: auctions ended at $2,075 to $2,275, with 13 to 48 bids.
The Night (Umbreon) and Day (Espeon) versions sold for about the same. Some sales were "best offer accepted," and eBay doesn't always show the final accepted price, so treat those as rough.
Presale prices usually move once the real product ships. Slumpd, who runs our Pokémon information, warned this week that main-set Pokémon product can drop fast after release, like Pitch Black did. He was talking about Delta Reign, not the UPC, but it's a good reminder that today's prices aren't a promise.
The fee math
eBay's final value fee for Collectible Card Games is 13.25% of the total sale up to $7,500, plus $0.40 per order over $10. Before sales tax, shipping and supplies:
- Single UPC sold at $450: about $390 after fees. That's about $210 over the $179.99 retail price.
- Single UPC sold at $500: about $433 after fees, or roughly $253 over retail.
- 4-box case sold at $2,075: about $1,800 after fees, against $719.96 at retail for four boxes.
- Break-even: to get your $179.99 back after fees, you'd need to sell for about $208.
Remember to add your local sales tax to the $179.99, and a UPC box is big and heavy to ship.
Flip, hold or pass?
This is our analysis, not a promise.
Flip: If you get one at $179.99, the math works even if presale prices fall by half. A $250 sale still clears retail after fees. The risk is timing. A lot of stock lands on November 6, and presale prices usually soften when people actually have the boxes.
Hold: UPCs are the kind of 30th Celebration product collectors tend to keep sealed. You can see this with the 2021 25th Anniversary Celebrations UPC: when we checked, Walmart Marketplace sellers were asking $1,340 to $1,399.99 for it. Those are asking prices, not sales, and that box came out under very different market conditions. Still, if you can get one at retail and afford to keep it, holding one sealed is reasonable.
Pass: Don't pay $650 to $750 for a third-party Walmart listing that can't be returned, when eBay presales are selling for less. And don't trust any "UPC live at Walmart" post until the listing says Walmart is the seller.
