Gran Turismo DualSense Wireless Controller – Limited Edition has a recommended price of $84.99 (€84.99, £74.99) and releases December 10, 2026, according to Sony's announcement as reported by Video Games Chronicle. It celebrates 30 years of the series. Sony says it will be available in "limited quantities globally" but has not published a print run, so there is no official number for how rare it is.
Pre-orders opened October 22 at 10am local time through PlayStation Direct and other retailers, per Push Square.
Gran Turismo DualSense price: how much is it?
- US retail: $84.99 (Video Games Chronicle, Push Square)
- Europe: €84.99
- UK: £74.99
- Japan: ¥12,480 including tax
That is the same price as the other recent special-edition DualSense pads, including the GTA VI controllers and the LISA collaboration, per GTPlanet.
What you get
- A mostly white controller with the black twin racing stripes on the touchpad
- A textured, carbon-fibre-style front plate
- Decals on the grips, including the Gran Turismo Association crest, a number 30 roundel and a "100 million" milestone mark, per GTPlanet
- The design is based on the Ford GT from Gran Turismo 4 rather than the original 1997 game
Gran Turismo DualSense eBay sold price
Our releases page records an eBay sold average of $147 across 7 sales as of October 26, 2026, against the $84.99 retail price. That is our team's check of completed sales on pre-order units, taken before launch. It is one snapshot of a small sample.
Why this matters for resale
- Milestone edition. The 30th anniversary of Gran Turismo is a clear collector hook.
- Pre-launch premium. Sold prices are already above retail.
- Limited, but unquantified. Sony says limited quantities and no more.
- Low cash outlay. At about $85 it is cheap to hold and light to ship. Our PS5 LISA DualSense guide and GTA VI DualSense guide cover the same type of product.
Risks and the case against
- Unknown supply. If Sony and retailers stock it widely, the premium fades after December 10.
- Many special editions. Sony keeps releasing them (God of War, Ghost of Yotei, Astro Bot, GTA VI, LISA), per VGC, so buyers have choices.
- Small sample. Seven sales do not make a market.
- Fees. On a sale around $147, marketplace fees and shipping take a real cut; see our reseller fees guide.
- Pre-order selling. Listing a pre-order you do not hold can break marketplace rules.
Flip, hold or pass
This is analysis, not a promise.
- Flip: If you hold a confirmed pre-order at retail and sold prices stay clearly above retail after fees once units ship.
- Hold: If you collect PlayStation or racing memorabilia. Sealed boxes are what buyers pay for.
- Pass: If you would have to buy it from a reseller above retail.
