Rockstar Store lists the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection at $399.99, with orders shipping from November 19, 2026. It is a collector's box of merchandise; the game is sold separately. On eBay, US presale copies sold between $540 and $745 in our check on October 31, 2026, about $140 to $345 over retail before fees. Rockstar has not published how many boxes exist, so there is no official rarity number.

GTA VI Vice City Collection price: how much is it?

  • Rockstar Store: $399.99, marked as a pre-order. The page says the item is not eligible for free shipping, so shipping is extra.
  • Ship date: Rockstar's page says orders ship from November 19, 2026.
  • Other regions: coverage reports £349.99 in the UK and €399.99 in Europe, with shipping and import duties charged separately. Treat those as reported.
  • Our releases page: tracks the box as a Rockstar pre-order shipping November 19. See /releases.

What is in the Vice City Collection box?

Rockstar lists these items, inspired by the in-game TV show Macca the Gator:

  • Macca the Gator figure with a twist-open stash base
  • Oakley Frogskins sunglasses
  • Leonida Keys crossbody bag
  • New Era 9FORTY snapback hat
  • Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
  • Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
  • Vice City collectible swizzle spoon
  • Vice City razor blade keychain
  • Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a metal tin
  • Leonida Keys sticker pack in a stash bag
  • Double-sided souvenir poster with a map of Leonida

The box measures 19 x 13.5 x 12.5 inches. Rockstar's note: "Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately." Several outlets report one box per customer; we could not confirm that on the Rockstar page itself.

GTA VI Vice City Collection eBay sold price

Completed US sales we checked on October 31, 2026, all listed as presale or pre-order because the box has not shipped:

  • Late September: about $694 to $750 (a few offers and outliers went higher).
  • Early to mid October: about $590 to $650.
  • October 23 (best offer): $540.
  • Our releases page recorded a $679 average across 10 sales as of October 1.

The direction is down: the newest US sales are the lowest. Sellers in the UK, Germany and Australia sold in a similar $530 to $740 range, but buyers there pay shipping and import fees on top. Small related items sold too: the Vice City Zippo lighter around $175 to $200, and the poster alone for $4 to $26.

Why this matters for resale

  • Huge franchise. The box ties to the most anticipated game release in years, and it ships on the date reported for the game's launch.
  • No game inside. That is a negative for gift buyers, but it means the box has to stand on its merchandise.
  • Licensed pieces. The Oakley sunglasses and New Era hat give the box real product value beyond a poster and pins.

Risks and the case against

  • You are selling a promise. Every sold listing we found is a presale. A shipping delay costs you in feedback and refunds.
  • Falling prices. $540 on October 23 versus $700+ in September suggests the first rush faded. More supply on November 19 could push it lower.
  • Unknown print run. If Rockstar restocks or reopens orders, the premium shrinks.
  • Big box. Shipping a 19 x 13.5 x 12.5 inch box is not cheap, and Rockstar's own shipping is extra.
  • Fees. At a $600 sale, eBay's final value fee is roughly 13% plus a small order fee, near $80, before shipping. See our reseller fees guide.

The math

At $540 sold: about $70 in fees and, assuming roughly $30 to ship, about $440 in your pocket against $399.99 plus Rockstar's shipping charge. That leaves roughly $30 to $40. At $650 the same math leaves about $140. Your own fee rate and shipping quote will move this, so run it before you list.

Flip, hold or pass

This is analysis, not a promise.

  • Flip: only if you already hold a box and can list near or above $600 after the fee check. Selling before delivery adds risk.
  • Hold: if you are a GTA fan. Keep the box sealed.
  • Pass: if you would be buying above retail now. The newest sales show the premium shrinking.
