The two Metroid Ravenous amiibo list at $24.99 for Samus and $44.99 for the Chozo Statue at Best Buy, and both are scheduled for January 28, 2027, the same day as the Switch 2 game. Nintendo says the Chozo Statue is larger than a standard amiibo. Preorders sold out at most retailers within days of going live in September. Completed eBay sales from September 9 to 12 ran about $69 to $150 for a single Samus and about $120 for a Chozo Statue, while a pair sold for about $200. Nintendo has not published a production number, so how rare they are is unknown.

Metroid Ravenous amiibo price: how much are they?

Samus amiibo: $24.99 at Best Buy, release date 01/28/2027 (checked November 1, 2026; the page shows "coming soon").
Chozo Statue amiibo: $44.99 at Best Buy, release date 01/28/2027 (same check).
Release date: January 28, 2027 for the amiibo and the game, per Nintendo and Best Buy.
Special Edition: the $119.99 game bundle includes a different figure, the Samus (Metroid Suit) amiibo. See our Metroid Ravenous Special Edition price guide.
Our team's note: after the first preorders vanished, we flagged these as "no risk" because the games and figures release in 2027 and orders can be cancelled. See the releases page.

Are the Metroid Ravenous amiibo sold out?

At most large retailers, yes. Our team reported in September that the amiibo were selling out in most places, with a retailer memo describing them as more limited. Best Buy still carried them then, and its pages now show "coming soon" with the January 28 date. Check the Samus page and the Chozo Statue page for stock before you chase them.

Metroid Ravenous amiibo eBay sold price

We searched completed US eBay sales on November 1, 2026. All of these are preorder listings for items that have not shipped, and the newest sold amiibo listing was September 12:

Samus, single: about $69 to $90 (two at $89.99, one at $68.99), with one best-offer listing at $150.
Chozo Statue, single: one sold at $120.
Samus plus Chozo, pair: one sold at $200 (September 12).
Special Edition game bundle: about $225 to $315 from late September to October 31, for context.

Presale sales are a few data points, not a market. Prices will move once the figures ship.

Why this matters for resale

Sellouts at launch. Preorders cleared fast across retailers.
Chozo Statue is larger than standard. Nintendo describes it as bigger than a typical amiibo, and statues like this usually attract collectors.
Cheap to hold. Retail is $24.99 and $44.99, and the release is far off.
Tied to a big franchise game. Metroid Ravenous is the next 2D Metroid on Switch 2.

Risks and the case against

Ship date risk. Your money or order sits for about three months.
Reprints. Nintendo can restock amiibo, which collapses prices.
Thin presale data. Only a handful of presale sales exist, mostly from September.
Fees. Fees and shipping take roughly 15% to 20% of a sale, which shrinks a thin margin quickly.

The math

A Samus sold at $70 with buyer-paid shipping nets roughly $60 after fees, about $35 profit on $24.99. A Chozo Statue sold at $120 nets roughly $105, about $60 profit on $44.99. Those figures use September presale prices. If prices fall to retail after launch, margins vanish. See the reseller fees guide.

Flip, hold or pass

This is analysis, not a promise.

Flip: if you already have a preorder you can cancel for free, keep it. Sell at or after release if prices hold above about $60 (Samus) or $90 (Chozo).
Hold: if you collect Metroid or amiibo. The Chozo Statue is the more interesting piece.
Pass: if you would pay a presale premium above $100 for a single Samus.
