Searches for the Nintendo Switch 2 Sports Resort bundle rose sharply this week. On Google Trends (US, past 7 days), "Nintendo Switch 2 Switch Sports Resort Bundle" and a related "Digital Code and 3 Months Online Bundle" topic both showed up as "Breakout" in the rising list beside the search "switch 2 bundle." So here is the short answer: the bundle is $529.99 at the Nintendo Store, it came out October 22, 2026, and recent eBay sold listings sit at about $499 to $500, which is below retail. Nintendo hasn't published how many were made.
How much is the Switch 2 Sports Resort bundle?
Nintendo's own store lists Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle at $529.99 with an October 22, 2026 release date. According to the product page, it includes:
- the Nintendo Switch 2 console, Joy-Con 2 controllers in Light Blue and Light Red, dock, AC adapter, USB-C cable, grip, two straps and an HDMI cable;
- a full download of the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort game (no cartridge);
- a 3-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership.
Nintendo says the bundle saves $27.98 compared with buying the pieces separately, based on its suggested retail prices. The game on its own is listed at $49.99 on Nintendo's store search; Target's listing for the Switch 2 game showed $59.99 on November 4. Prices at other retailers move, so check your final cart.
Switch 2 Sports Resort bundle eBay sold price
Checked November 4, 2026, eBay sold listings, brand new:
- Switch 2 + Sports Resort bundle: 7 sales between October 20 and October 30, all about $499 to $500 (one at $499.00, three at $499.99, three at $500.00, one of which was a best offer). Shipping ranged from free to about $28, so what the buyer paid varied.
- Sports Resort game alone (Switch 2): sold from $49.99 to $71.60 between October 21 and November 3. Most sealed copies sold between about $54 and $61.
Seven bundle sales is a small sample, and a sold price is not a promise of what the next one sells for.
The math: why this one is hard to profit on
Say you buy the bundle at $529.99 and sell at $500. Before fees, shipping or tax, that is about $30 less than you paid. With a typical marketplace fee (our team has cited 7.35% on consoles with an eBay basic store, and about 13% is common without one) you would lose more. Our reseller fees guide has the formula. The game alone is closer: a $49.99 to $59.99 copy sold around $54 to $61 leaves a few dollars at best after fees and shipping.
Can you cancel or return it?
We read Target's returns page on November 4. Electronics and entertainment items must be returned or exchanged within 30 days, and video games are exchange-only (same title) once opened. Target also says holiday and limited-time collections may have modified return policies. We did not verify Nintendo's own cancellation and return rules for this bundle, so check them before you order. Because the game in this bundle is a download, the return rules for opened physical games may not map neatly onto it.
Is it rare? Release date and restocks
The release date was October 22, 2026, and Nintendo lists it as a regular store product with no stated limit or print run. We found no published quantity, so we can't call it rare. Sold prices below retail point to plenty of supply for now.
Flip, hold or pass? Our take
This is our analysis, not a promise, and our team hasn't posted a view on this bundle in the Discord channel.
- Flip: only if you can get it well under $500 delivered.
- Hold: not a collector's item; there's no scarcity hook, unlike the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2, which our team has covered.
- Pass: at $529.99, current sold prices don't cover the cost, let alone fees.
If you want a Switch 2 for yourself, the bundle's $27.98 saving over buying the parts is a real reason to buy it. As a resale play, it isn't one right now.
