· 4 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Searches for "link amiibo ocarina of time" rose about 100% in the past 24 hours. The Young Link and Young Zelda figures list at $24.99 each, but they do not release until 2027, and pre-sale sellers are already getting $125 to $150 for a pair.

Searches for "link amiibo ocarina of time" rose about 100% in the past 24 hours, according to Google Trends (US, checked November 4, 2026). The product behind it is the Young Link and Young Zelda Ocarina of Time amiibo, which Nintendo announced on September 8, 2026 at $24.99 each. They are scheduled for 2027; the Nintendo store lists a placeholder date of December 31, 2027 and Nintendo has not announced a real one. Nintendo has not published a print run, so there is no official number for how rare they are. On eBay, pre-sale pairs have sold for $124.91 to $149.99, about 2.5 to 3 times the $49.98 retail price for both.

Young Link amiibo price: how much is it?

  • Young Link (Ocarina of Time series): $24.99
  • Young Zelda (Ocarina of Time series): $24.99
  • Pair at retail: $49.98
  • Release date: 2027, exact date not announced (Nintendo's store page shows 12/31/2027 as a placeholder, per Zelda Universe and Deku Deals)
  • What they do: tapping a figure unlocks an in-game mask styled on the original character models in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2

The game itself launches November 5, 2026, so the figures arrive well after it. Deku Deals lists the figures at $24.99 and shows retailer listings; check each store for whether pre-orders are open and whether they can be canceled.

Link amiibo Ocarina of Time release date

Nintendo says 2027. That is all it has confirmed. Sources that show a specific date are showing the placeholder. There is no pre-order guarantee on any of it until a retailer confirms stock and a ship date.

Link amiibo Ocarina of Time eBay sold price

Checked on November 4, 2026 (eBay sold listings for "young link amiibo ocarina of time"). These are pre-sales of figures nobody has yet:

Item Sold price Dates
Young Link + Young Zelda pair, "pre-sale" $124.91 to $149.99 (most at $129.99 to $135.00) Oct 29 to Nov 2
Young Link alone, "pre-sale" or "pre-order" $63.99 to $85.62 Oct 29 to Oct 31
Unrelated Ocarina of Time NFC coins $6.00 Oct 29

Active listings on the same day ask $69.95 to $99.95 for single figures. Treat all of these as pre-sale asking and sold prices, not what the figures will sell for once they are in stores. A seller who has no stock yet has to buy at retail later to deliver.

Is the Young Link amiibo worth flipping? Flip math

Assume a pair costs $49.98 at retail and sells for $130 on eBay (the middle of the sold range), with about $6 shipping. With eBay's rate of 13.6% plus $0.40 per order for most categories (eBay selling fees):

  • Fees: about $18.08
  • Net after fees and shipping: about $106
  • Profit: roughly $56 on a pair, but only if you actually get two units at $24.99 and the pair still sells near $130 when they ship.

Two catches. A retailer may cancel or delay a pre-order, and a pre-sale buyer expects the figure when you promise it, which could be a year away. Also, Nintendo amiibo tend to be restocked when demand is high, so the premium can fall at launch. Our reseller fees guide lists current rates by marketplace.

Why did searches for the Link amiibo rise?

We could not tie the spike to a single announcement. Two things overlap this week: the Ocarina of Time game launches on November 5, and the Zelda 40th anniversary hardware and merchandise are in the news. Treat the 100% as interest, not as sales.

Risks and the case against

  • No release date. Money can be tied up for a year or more.
  • Pre-orders can be canceled. We have seen Zelda retail pre-orders canceled before; see our note on Walmart canceling Zelda Switch 2 orders.
  • Restock risk. Nintendo has reprinted amiibo when demand is high, which can push prices to retail.
  • Selling something you do not have. Pre-sale listings carry buyer-protection risk on eBay if you cannot deliver.

Flip, hold or pass

This is analysis, not a promise. The team has not called these figures.

  • Flip: Possible but speculative. It only pays if you secure pre-orders at $24.99 and the pair still sells above about $90 when released.
  • Hold: If you are a Zelda collector, one pair at retail is reasonable.
  • Pass: Paying $125 or more for a pre-sale pair from a seller who does not have them.
