Wolverine PS5 Bundle Price: $649.99, eBay Resale Value

· 5 min read · By the Friends & Family team

Sony's Marvel's Wolverine PS5 bundle costs $649.99 at retail. Sold listings on eBay have run about $750 to $870, but fees and shipping eat most of that gap. The cheaper accessories may be the better flip.

The Marvel's Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle retails for $649.99 in the US, according to Video Games Chronicle and SlashGear. It launched alongside the game on September 15, 2026, with pre-orders that opened August 19 on PlayStation Direct. Sony says supply is limited but has not published a print run, so there is no official number for how rare it is.

On eBay, brand-new sealed bundles have sold for roughly $750 to $870 in our check on October 30, 2026, a premium of about $100 to $220 over retail before fees.

Wolverine PS5 bundle price: how much is it?

Retail prices, per VGC and SlashGear:

  • PS5 Digital Edition Wolverine bundle (Battle Yellow): $649.99. Includes the console, a matching DualSense and a download code for Marvel's Wolverine.
  • Wolverine DualSense controller (yellow or Adamantium silver): $84.99
  • Console covers (PS5 Battle Yellow, PS5 Pro Battle Yellow, PS5 Pro Adamantium): $74.99 each
  • Marvel's Wolverine game (physical): $69.99 (SlashGear)

For comparison, SlashGear notes a standard PS5 Digital Edition normally costs $599, so Sony's premium for the bundle is about $50. There is no disc-edition or PS5 Pro bundle, per VGC. The art was drawn by comic artist Jock, who contributed to the game's key art.

Wolverine PS5 bundle eBay sold price

Checked on October 30, 2026 (eBay completed, sold listings, newest first, new and sealed, US sellers):

Item Sold price Date
Digital bundle, in hand $789.99 Oct 29
Digital bundle, new $779.99 Oct 29
Digital bundle, new $779.99 Oct 20
Digital bundle (best offer accepted) $799.99 Oct 12
Digital bundle, new $779.99 Oct 10
Digital bundle, in hand $819.00 Sep 21
Digital bundle, in hand $849.95 Sep 17
Digital bundle plus second controller (33 bids) $867.56 Sep 26

The pattern: launch-week sales cleared at $820 to $870, and the price has settled around $780 to $800 by late October. That is a falling premium, though still above the $649.99 retail.

Accessories sell for more than their price tags suggest:

  • Slim cover and controller set (sealed): $250 to $260 (Sep 27, Oct 1)
  • PS5 Pro Adamantium cover and controller bundle: $315 (best offer, Oct 20)
  • Retail for a cover plus a controller is $159.98, so those sold at roughly 1.6x to 2x.

Listings that were mislabeled, pre-owned, or not the Wolverine bundle were excluded. This is a snapshot of a small number of sales, not a guaranteed market.

The flip math

Using eBay's current rate of 13.6% plus $0.40 per order for most categories, charged on the item price and shipping (eBay selling fees):

  • Bundle at $780 sold, $19 shipping charged: fees come to about $109. If shipping costs you about $20, you net roughly $670, or about $20 over the $649.99 retail (before sales tax and your time).
  • Cover plus controller at $255 sold, free shipping: fees about $35, shipping about $12. You net roughly $208 against $159.98 cost, about $48 profit.

Those numbers are estimates. Your shipping cost depends on box size and insurance. Our reseller fees guide lists the current rates by marketplace.

Why this matters for resale

  • Strong IP. Wolverine is one of Marvel's best-known characters, and the design uses a comic artist's artwork rather than a generic skin.
  • Limited and digital-only. The bundle exists only as a Digital Edition, so buyers who want a disc drive cannot get it from Sony.
  • Premium is proven. Sold prices have held above retail for six weeks since launch.
  • Accessories carry the best percentage. Covers and controllers are cheap to buy, light to ship and sell at close to double retail.

Risks and the case against

  • The premium is shrinking. Launch-week buyers paid $820 to $870. Late-October buyers pay about $780.
  • Fees and shipping eat the gap. On the bundle, a roughly $130 premium shrinks to about $20 once costs are paid.
  • Unknown supply. Sony has not disclosed quantities. If PlayStation Direct or retailers restock, prices drop.
  • High cash outlay. $650 tied up in one item for a thin margin is a poor use of money.
  • Condition and returns. Consoles get "item not received" and "not as described" claims more than small items do.
  • The next limited console. Sony keeps releasing special editions, so collector attention moves on.

Flip, hold or pass

This is analysis, not a promise.

  • Flip: Only the cover and controller, if you can still buy them at $74.99 and $84.99 retail. The percentage margin is far better than the bundle.
  • Hold: If you collect PlayStation limited editions or Marvel items. Sealed, complete consoles are what collectors want, and the design is unlikely to be reissued.
  • Pass: The bundle itself at anything above retail. At $780 sold, you cannot buy it at a premium and make money after fees.
